The Perpetual Healing Garden - SweetSue's Joyful Return

So I caught this insect on my plants, I already mentioned it on Spookies thread but those insects are pretty scary... Maybe you can't see it but at the end of his body he has a blueish tail... Now that's a stinger. Those freaky bastards can sting and when he does he kind of folds out his stinger in smaller hairs. So does anyone know what it is? They are not really big but easy to spot when they are on the plant. I only found 2 of them. Any advice would be thankful!

Rad's the one who typically runs the bugs down for us, so he may spot this one. An insect with that stinging capacity won't likely be a threat to the plants, IMHO, so I'm not sure you even need to be concerned with that. With cannabis you're most concerned with insects that'll compromise root growth or chlorophyll production. This one, whatever it is, doesn't look like it'd do either, but it sounds like an insect I want to keep from stinging me. :laughtwo:

Thanks for your (misplaced) faith in my bug knowledge. This insect has tiny wings or is wingless. It doesn't look like a typical wingless insect type - it looks somewhat like a Cicada. It is probably a nymph stage on the way to an adult stage of something.

My best guess is an issid nymph which will grow into an issid planthopper. About I could find on google issid planthoppers tend to feed on specific types of trees or sapplings. This critter was most likely lost.

Thanks Rad! It's definetly an Issid Nymph! But do they sting though

coffee with good company :)

I've been calling my morning routine "Bowl and Brew". When legalization hits, I''l open "Tead's Bowl and Brew" somewhere in my world... seems a perfect outlet for my post-legalization growing ideas. I'll have crazy local colors going everywhere with painted up chairs that will have 420Mag monikers applied somewhere to the chair. I'll save ya a chair.

That is a catchy name :) I will be using that chair :thanks:.
How awesome it would be, if we all could meet in one place one day...sweet day that would be :)

I am still figuring out a name for hubby's coffee shop dream. And YOU have a chair there too, for when ever you'll come South :hugs:
My original dream is a " SweetSue's Canna Treatment Center" And I will get there one day, but for starters, when it is legal, a coffee shop, selling lots of goodies is a must.
Of course the name needs to be connected with all of you guys so I thought of actually make a painting on the wall with 420mag emblem and write/draw the forum names of people I adore and have inspired me, on there. ( BIG wall  )

There's a dog next door that stares out the window. I've been wanting to paint him for years now. Not a single artistic neuron in my brain. I'll put you on that task while you're at it. Then there's a big awning I've been wanting to paint the inside of with some crazy bayou scene....
Got the ideas... just not the skillz.
Yup... when the doors open, bring ur brush.

I love popping seeds, so many possibilities!

Looking good. I tried some grapestomper last november, tasted just like grape soda. it was a high CBD grapestomper vape pen. very mellow.

Here is an idea, not my own, they have them where I live. A Puff and Paint night. If you have not seen one it is pretty cool. Like a little art class, 420 friendly art class. Sound cool I am going to take the Missus to one soon.

Good morning everyone.

:high-five:

One of these days real soon I'm gonna be able to identify the terpene mix that causes the flavor expressions and the combinations that give the effect you desire. At that point I become a much more valuable triage nurse, don't I? :laughtwo: Never in my wildest imaginings did I envision myself as a ganja warrior, researching the mysteries of the ECS.

Grapestomper sounds like one I'll have to seek out from a dispensary some day, or better yet, visit someone with a harvest, to taste it as it should be grown. :battingeyelashes:

They just opened a painting studio in the local up-scale shopping area. They do parties where everyone paints. A delightful franchise idea I was pleased as punch to see open up.

Thats a whole lotta seed poppin right there, it would be like jiffy popcorn when i was a kid shakin it over the stove eye till the foil expanded to that awesome fullness of flavor. yum. Happy Sunday growing to ya Sue

Happy Sunday to you too cannaruss. :hugs:

Sounds like an excellent idea. Follow that impulse. :high-five:

I can't get hubby to move to Holland, although it was his idea from the beginning ....

If this was his idea in the beginning, then you're just caught in an eddy. You're trying too hard. Create the feeling of being in Holland and relax into that feeling every time you think about it. When you think of it in terms of "I really, really want to move to Holland, but I'm still here'" you keep yourself there by focusing on the lack of what you desire. Change the momentum of your feeling to one of joyful expectation.

Create the feeling and relax into the inevitable future. When you feel the impulse to action arising out of a moment of joy, grab the opportunity starting you in the face with both hands and jump girl. I expect Holland is in your future. Stop pushing for it and start accepting it without question or doubt.

We get all caught up in deadlines and timelines and lose sight of the fact that we're eternal beings. Grasp that reality, and the rest kinda filters down into joy, wherever you are.

Family on the mend now Birdie? :hugs:

I'm stealing the painting idea.
Locally, we see a good bit of 'primatives' done on large format pieces... usually big wood panels with mini-murals on them. In my own home I have a few.
Yup, stolen.

Alright, I'll do that, and we can explore setting up some classes in the neighborhood. You know my background is in education, with art as a minor, and I've decades of entrepreunial experience behind me? This sounded like an incredible idea, to be honest.

You already know of my love of house painting. :cheesygrinsmiley:

I can paint pretty good! With paint I mean just a wall with 1 color

Make my day. Hand me brushes, an empty abode, and gallons, that's right, gallons of paint to splash on the walls. I'd be in heaven for days. Toss in some cabinets in need of stripping and refinishing, and maybe some woodwork in need of some loving repair before the new varnish....... Oh yeah, you guys have no idea how happy my soul feels right this minute, just writing about it. :laughtwo:

Good morning everyone.

Another glorious day has playfully thrust itself onto our joyful path. I'm still waking up every morning with an exuberant war whoop of "You bet I'm ready to play!!!" followed by peals of laughter. My life has never flowed so effortlessly. I encourage you to incorporate this deliberate statement into your morning and let it work it's subtle magic in your own lives.

Then take that joy that inevitably bubbles up from deep within you and share it at every opportunity. It expands the more you share, like magic. We're cosmic alchemists, dabbling in love and joy. Hehe! I like the sound of that. Lol!

Joy. Get out there and share it people. :hugs::hugs::hugs::hugs::hugs:

and yes, slowly everything is going back to normal..:hugs:

I keep my visual of the dream, only sometimes, very quick, it saddens me to see when he changes his mind, holding himself back, due to fear of change.

I keep my visual of the dream, only sometimes, very quick, it saddens me to see when he changes his mind, holding himself back, due to fear of change.

You can't feel for him, but you can effect reality by shifting that sadness as quickly as you can. When it hit, allow yourself to get excited. "Oh" you can say, "I'm feeling this way because I forgot I was feeling joyfully anticipatory about this. :cheesygrinsmiley: Let me change the way I feel." :battingeyelashes:  The negative emotion becomes the trigger back to the positive focus.

Isn't it neat how you can turn negative right back onto itself? :slide:

It, again

Good news bad news. When you have It and it rains through the roof on to your lights, you say "that's cool how those hoods shed water and the Ghost Train plant needed watering.” Or, "I suppose I should call a roofer today."

Setbacks do not have the same impact on your life.

It is not Joy. It is comfort, contentment, acceptance, a touch of Joy and more. It is from within and you have It, Sue.

It is just a thought to clutter up your day.

Best

Dont you just love Sundays? The fresh start to the new week........ always some sweet change afoot. This is the week I get to plant in new soil. :yahoo: I thought that deserved something more significant than a war whoop of expectation.

So I flipped the Candy Cane and Emerald. :blunt: I may need to transplant Emerald into something bigger before paradise, to make it easier on the daughter, but until I make that determination she'll be busy making the hormone switch to bloom with her new roommate. :woohoo:

If you'll excuse me, I have a drench to prepare for the Candy Cane. She's my last LOS pot, so I might as well spoil her. :battingeyelashes:

Peace all. Hope everyone is well. I jz got from Anaheim on some work related travels. Came back to this. She wasn't watered for a few days. And the soil. Seems to be completely. Think she's ready?

Well done! :high-five: Reps for the booming harvest! They appear to be nice, dense buds, so I'm guessing a couple ounces dry. I figure 20% of harvested weight, and it comes very close every time.

Now wasn't that fun? :slide: Tell me you have more coming right behind. :battingeyelashes: :green_heart:
