The Perpetual Healing Garden - SweetSue's Joyful Return

Sue, the reason for half strength is because you will be using it many times times over the next few weeks, and it's very important to only give it after you stress her. You will be while we train and SC her over the next few weeks. Would like to see you flip her, but she's NOT ready yet, i'm thinkin another 10 days still. Sue , if you were to write down your water/Drench schedule over the last four weeks ,...how would it look? Cheers eh.:Namaste:

Thursday, Sept 8 Transplant
Tuesday, Sept 27 Transwater.

I thought for sure there was another drench in there, but I don't find any record of it. I recall mentioning that this plant was somewhat more drought resistant than its companion.

Her next one would be another Transwater.

Did she get anything between the 8 and 27th? enough with the Transplant ...make her next drink some GE, OK! She is rapidly growing and will benefit from a good GE Drench. Make it per instructions w/ Tea. drench her good. Will the pot hold 3gal's. without being too much? Cheers

The pot took about 2 1/2 gallons with almost no runoff last drench, so I'm thinking with the roots she must have by now she might take about three gallons.

She got nothing between those two dates. She didn't wilt until the 27th.

It's so cool to me knowing what duggan is talking about. Last year I was so confused reading some of the high brix journals. But now, it's like a second language because I've heard it from duggs a hundred times. Your Carnival is looking great. Are you feeling good about the SCing, Sue?

Yes I am Noob. I've just got the one day behind me though, so let's see how it goes from here. You guys won't let me fail. :battingeyelashes:  She's gonna be a beast Noob. :slide:

Congrats on MOTM Sue, well deserved!

Thanks ween. :hugs:

Good morning everyone.

I'm starting to get used to a decent night's sleep again.

I just realized I never posted my update from yesterday. :laughtwo: That's a first on me, I believe lol! I guess I stayed high enough in celebration, didn't I? I'll include some of the more relevant photos in with today's. I had the DDAs out for a thorough spraying of SNS 217. Yep, you guessed it - mites again.

It surprises me how quickly they establish. I watch for the signs and I keep missing the early stages under the LEDs. I have learned the difference between the signs of thrips and the signs of mites, and it's in the leaf markings. Thrips make a lacy pattern, where mites leave this telltale spotting.

Not something I wanted to know, but knowledge stored away for future reference.

Time to roll out of bed and get on with the day. I've a Carnival to attend to. :battingeyelashes: It's a glorious Sunday. Get out there and spread some joy around. :hugs::hugs::hugs::hugs::hugs:

Quick Belated Update: From Saturday, October 1, 2016

I decided to do a quick photo dump of the tent autos from yesterday.

First up, Early Miss (Day 18). I started her restraints.

Then I dragged the DDAs out to the balcony for a thorough spraying of the SNS217 and took the opportunity to photograph them in natural light.

Did a minor trimming to open up the center to the light.

These got thoroughly rinsed off and spun dry in the salad spinner before going into the freezer.

Dark Devil Auto 2 (Day 49)

Looks like I singed her tips a little with the last nute increase. Think I'll stay with this mix for a few more days.

She's still got at least another two weeks to go. I'm in no rush to push her any faster.

OK, I feel better about that.

No need for any supercropping this morning. She got DeStressed, since I missed lights out and fell asleep before the hour of light's on after midnight.

I :Love::Love::Love: this picture! It's so pretty!

She's just getting started Fuzz. In the next two weeks she's gonna bulk up so much it'll surprise you. She may have a third week left in her. We've had some go longer than 90 days.

Its amazing how seductive that dark purple/translucent pistle combo is....one of these days I will try again. My first DDA grow was not exactly stellar

Give her another go mouser. It's such a pleasure to grow one.

I hope my Dark Devils don't go longer than 90 days. I have dreams of a Christmas harvest. "Merry Christmas to me! Merry Christmas to me! I'm gonna vape me some buds, Merry Christmas to me!" Just one plant is all I need though. DD or Bubble Gum. I just need one! Especially since I'll be totally out by then and jonesing for it. :)

It's a challenge keeping up with your own demands, isn't it? :laughtwo: When the time gets close take some sample buds about four days ahead and hang them to dry. By then whichever you choose will be close enough to offer you a good holiday buzz.

I keep running into that problem of running out before the next harvest. My life has had more than its share of grow-dismantling scenarios. Thankfully, I live this blessed life where kind souls keep stepping in and supplementing my needs. The last time, when my harvest ended up as a toxic volcano that coated my stove, one such friend sent me funds to make a street purchase.

I made that purchase the other day, and quite frankly, next time I'll do without. I'd forgotten how maddening that entire process is. Between the sneaking around in full view of everyone, you have no control of quality. What passed for "an ounce of these sweet buds" was in reality 20 grams (yeah, that shocked me too - no way to weigh it on the street ) of tumbled and stripped buds, packed into tight bricks and hard as rocks. I'm glad I got it now, when I still have enough quality buds on hand to use it as a cut and filler instead of a primary source.

This was what he was so excited about selling me. The saddest part is that a mere two years ago I'd have been excited about buying it.

We, my friends, are spoiled rotten. I, for one, am proud of that spoiled status. :blunt: I'm also very thankful to my generous friend that I won't have to go without.
