They took their beheading in typical stride. :battingeyelashes: I had to move the light up again. These are now at Day 18. Yeah, the Industrial plant gets pulled today and something else planted in there tomorrow. I'll get the perlite flushed out and ready to go today. I'm assuming that's the process? Flush out any and all salts and start again?

I'm thinking tomorrow might be a good time to get the Carnivals in their big pots and turn on GOD. :battingeyelashes:

Thank you K. I did miss this one. It's so funny..... I left that morning post and headed off to leave you a "good morning" message, right before I intended to go looking for the post I must surely have missed, to find you waiting for me. :battingeyelashes:  You spoil me, and I really appreciate that. :hugs::hugs::hugs:

I'll take your advice and start another plant. I'll make this one something for me, something zippy and fun. Something Sweet Seeds, I think. Because this at 26 days is unacceptable.

image15815.jpeg

I mean, I'm giving hempy a bad name and I'm feeling bad for Tead and lexort. I gotta make good on this K. My stage is too big to fail on, and my own competitive spirit's gonna drive me to succeed at it, even if my plan is to return to LOS exclusively in time.

Thank you again. :hugs::Love:

This one is NOT your failure! The plant is healthy, you just got a runt. I'd blame this one on the breeder! :goodjob:

Sue: In your instructions to CatnipTC on how to grow Autos, you did not say what size pots are optimum for Autos. I just acquired some auto seeds of several strains, and I want to do it right, when I have the room.

sorry, trying to understand. So don't start the flower nutes till about 2 weeks after pistils. Just thinking out loud been a long day for me. So I don't get confused. My autos move fast. Pistil right at 2 weeks from sprout. Pretty sure I have been giving straight RO water for the first 4 weeks. I cannot recall now.

Just wodering what the generally accepted method was.

The concern is about going straight to flowering nutrients when they start flowering because, as you pointed out, they start flowering immediately. I'd ask arteekay and Jay about the schedule. They'd know much more than I.

Sorry to take so long to get back to you AKgramma. For autos it's recommended to go at least 5 gallons. I do mine in 7 and 10 gallon Geo Pots and I've been very satisfied with that. Bigger pots means bigger plants, unless you get a runt.

@SweetSue

Thank you, and I'm enjoying your company as well! I don't talk with ATrain much, but will definitely tell him I met you. He actually nominated one of my plants to their bud of the month thingy. But I'm not there to compete, I enjoy the group of people I talk with and learn a lot from them. :)

Let me get the update in before I fire up this cone I got inspired to do after visiting over at Heirloom's yard.

Daily Update: Saturday, August 13, 2016

Twenty-six days, and this was all she did. Not gonna cut it any longer. She's gone. The pot got thoroughly flushed and I mixed up fresh nutrients at 1/4 tsp/gal, in anticipation of the Rapid Rooter planted Dark Devil Auto. I've decided to run her in the hempy pot, assuming she comes up, and I'm definately going to assume that

image15824.jpeg

I set it on the hempy pot. When it sprouts I'll bury it into the perlite and start again.

image15825.jpeg

I went gently digging for this one earlier and uncovered the top of the shell. It didn't move at all under light pressure, suggesting roots. That was what made me decide to run the other in the hempy. I'll get the chance to see how much difference my LOS is really making in the quality of my produce.

Dark Devil Auto (Day 54) How stunted is she, you ask?

image15827.jpeg

Pretty f*n stunted. *sigh* At least she's a pretty face, and I'm assured she'll kick ass as meds. Sad though.

One last look in on the Carnivals before lights out.

Better.

That's all folks. Thanks for gracing us with your smiling faces. I had the most delightful day in a while, working up my version of grow room 101 for a new member. You have no idea how happy those little educational communiques make me. It made my whole day sparkle and I'm still smiling. :battingeyelashes:

So my hope is that your own day had even a touch of the magic mine had. Sharing joy has to be the most rewarding thing next to flat-out loving. :circle-of-love:

Now I'm gonna throw on some sweet jazz for background and fire this puppy up. :Namaste:

I forgot to mention, the cone's filled with UnderDawg, a cross of an Unknown x Chem 91 x Soma NYCD. None of that means anything to me. You guys that keep all of this straight in your heads absolutely amaze me. :laughtwo: It's mostly indica. Yes, you heard that right, mostly indica. Lol! Trying for a good nights sleep before 5 AM.

Made it halfway through. Joints can be so harsh, if you're not careful. Easier to deal with when the product is top shelf. It smoked real smooth. I had it packed just right. :blunt:

image15841.jpeg

All by myself it's difficult to smoke up that much. I made myself do it for Chewey's friend Sam, but that was a celebratory smoke for the end of his suffering.

image15842.jpeg

I've got some Google jazz station on for background and life feels pretty good right now. I'll finish the rest of it later, or tomorrow, if I don't last that long. The apartment smells delicious. Nothing beats a good joint. Sorry, but nothing beats a good joint on occassion, for the incense alone. :battingeyelashes:

Life is sweet guys. Later. :kisstwo:

Jazz... as a musician, I hate it. As a listener, I have to be in the mood or in New Orleans. That's the only way I can enjoy it. Oh, and I have to have a hurricane in my hand.

:hugs:

For me, jazz is like the poetry in The New Yorker magazine - sometimes it's brilliant, but most of the time I just don't get it.

You guys obviously haven't been exposed to the right jazz music!

Oh hey, how 'bout swing? Are you a swing fan? I absolutely love the old speakeasy combo swing stuff, and even Texas style. Eilen Jewell, perhaps? :slide:

I do appreciate all music (well...maybe not rap/hiphop! :) ) but I'm a classic rock guy, personally! :theband:

Ed Sullivan Show, Elvis Presley appearance. My dad had a fit. Me, I guess I was an Elvis fan back then as I wanted one of those pendants with a lock of his hair when he was sheared for Army duty.

I never got this rap/hip hop. As for me, I'm stuck in the 70s, 80s and 90s. Classic rock.

'Morning all. :passitleft:

I had an interesting experience this morning with some of that Ultraviolet auto. It was before sunrise and a little spiritual. I was Blazed! Kinda still am...

:lot-o-toke:

Thank you. :laughtwo: To be honest, this was random background music. Living above my hypersensitive BIL leaves me few options for late night listening without earbuds. I've discovered he doesn't seem to register the Jazz the way he does country, for example. In the name of transparency, I started to appreciate country again partly because I know it drives him a little bonkers, and I love to sing along with sappy love songs. I figured it was karma he earned.

Good Morning :hugs:

Good morning dear. :hugs:

Ooooo...... Swing sounds like a good choice to rock the walls while transplanting. See? This is one of those reasons I'm glad you enjoy the company of my yard. Always inspiring me with musical suggestions. :kisstwo:

I don't know, that Marshall Bruce Mathers III can string words together that make my soul sing. Every musical genre has stars worth listening to. Even rap. Ever listen to Matisyahu?

I'm a fan of music. There are a number of members I tap regularly for musical inspiration, covering a wide range of styles. I soak it all up.

Jim, it's been so much fun watching you enjoy the hell out of your harvests. :hugs:

I'm feeling rowdy this morning. Think I'll pull up my favorite Bright Eyes song and blast it out. :woohoo:

Good morning everyone. Let's get out there and

MAKE SOME NOISE!!

I gotta stop smoking indica-dominant stuff before bed. I wake up fuzzy. My system doesn't respond to indicas the way I'd expect. Aren't they reputed to put you to sleep? Good God, I smoked a crapload of mine last night in that cone and was up until 4 AM! Now I feel groggy. Let me get away from the iPad and go wash the sleep off me.

Catch you later. :ciao:

Checking on the potential babies

Still waiting, but I know it's under there.

Welcome little one. :battingeyelashes: :green_heart:

I'll let her grow some roots before I plant her in the perlite. I finally have another DDA above the soil line. :yahoo:

Life is sweet guys. :battingeyelashes:
