The Perpetual Healing Garden - SweetSue's Joyful Return

Crossroads was the seed I planted into the newly vacant pot. The big plant getting ready to flower is the CBD Critical Cure. Yes, I should be cloning. I'll need to make that a priority and gather supplies.

search "clone bucket" it comes with all the supplies you need for hundreds of clones - my 1 gallon, 8 site clone bucket cost $45 delivered.

When you add up the costs of a seedling tray, a cover,a heating pad, rockwool or peat pellets, cloning gels - the cost is more, they often stink, and they take up more space near the lights.

I was just looking at a cloner like that by western something. Who makes your bucket cloner, Rad?

Thanks Rad, that's not a bad deal. Do you think Clonex is worth paying for the brand name?

:woohoo: CARNIVAL arises!!!

Right there in the middle - just coming out of the soil. :yahoo:

As soon as she clears the soil line I'll start a new community grow, dedicated to this wonderful strain. She deserves a community of inspired cultivator's learning together to max out potential.

:woohoo: :yahoo: Carnival!!!! Ahhhh...... I can breathe easier now. Lol!

I have a clonebucket 1.0 - which seems to be both a version number and a 1 gallon bucket size.
The clonebucket 2.0 has triple sprayer nozzles (which might clog with hard water-but who clones with hard water?) while the 1.0 sprays jets of water that splash against the sides of the bucket.

I have used Clonex gel and powder - the gel seems to work better than the powder. I now use a liquid that came with the clonebucket. I suspect any liquid or gel works fine. I would use a liquid in a spray or bubble cloner and a gel when cloning in a soil or soil-less medium. If I had easy access to a willow tree I would try cloning with willow water.

:circle-of-love::party: Carnival:party::circle-of-love:

P.S. I also used another cloning liquid whose name I don't remember when I was cloning in rockwool. The Clonex gel was better, but mainly because it was a gel instead of a liquid.

Daily Update: Day 66 & 68

The new Carnival's almost out of the dirt. :woohoo: I have the new thread all ready to go. :laughtwo:

Let's see what else is afoot, shall we?

The veg tent plugs along.

Three out of four up, or coming up. I went digging for the Azura Haze and found nothing. I decided to try a Super Cheese instead. Blame that on Weaselcraker. He posted a picture of a Cheese he's growing and I couldn't resist the call. I'll be doing seeds later today, some Crossroads for the empty pot in the corner and the Super Cheese for the shopping bag.

image10544.jpeg

The CBD Critical Mass is looking fabulous.

image10545.jpeg

The Auto Jack Herer isn't to be sneered at. She's starting to thicken up and not a day too soon.

image10547.jpeg

image10548.jpeg

Over in the flowering tent, nothing to report in the seedling department. I'm planting three more in here and just see what happens.

image10549.jpeg

CBD Critical Cure is still in transition. Flip + 5 days.

I finally figured out I can clip the monitors to the poles at canopy height. :laughtwo: Sometimes I wonder. Lol!

On to my Dark Devil Auto. (Day 66)

image10554.jpeg

I think the essential oil spray might be having the desired effect. Looking down into the plant it's obvious that the buds and sugar leaves are covered in trichomes!

Same bud, different perspective.

image10559.jpeg

Little DDA2 is just waiting to claim the pot for her own. She's 6 days old now. Arteekay's success has convinced me to take a more aggressive approach to training this one. He's thinking they'll get better than 3 ounces on their current plant. I'm hoping to at least match that.

image10560.jpeg

One last glance back.

image10561.jpeg

I'm off into the sunlight. Time for a grocery run. Thanks for stopping by. Now take some of the joy I hopefully inspired and spread it around. Watch it grow at each and every application. I'll do my best over here to match your efforts. :battingeyelashes: :green_heart:

:Namaste:

Darn it Susan! Now I'm gonna have to plant some more seeds once these plants start growing more. :)

There you are. :love::hug::hug::hug:

Have I tempted you beyond endurance? :laughtwo: I love it when a plan works. Lol!

There she is. :battingeyelashes:

image10581.jpeg

The new class: Bubba Kush in the back, Strawberry Blue on the right, Carnival on the left. Seeds are soaking for planting tomorrow.

image10582.jpeg

Whew!!! :laughtwo:

Sue, I received my Dark Devil beans yesterday!! I am going to wait on some other projects to get closer to the finish line before I plant them. Hope mine do as well as yours have been doing.

:woohoo: Great news! We'll keep an eye out for your planting date.

Daily Update: Day 67 & 69

I actually went to bed around 2 AM last night, probably my best goal to shoot for. Given I sleep for about five hours, that has me out of bed before the lights come on, which meant everyone got their foliars on time this morning. The HB kit beauties got a shot of Brix and the autos got their tortious essential oil spray. Yes, it was quite fragrant, and thank goodness for superior air filtration capabilities.

The veg tent is a nice, relaxed atmosphere.

image10590.jpeg

The Auto Jack Herer has taken on some lovely coloration.

image10591.jpeg

She's packing on the trichomes too.

image10592.jpeg

Every one of those tiny dots is really a helmet-capped stalk filled with resin.

image10593.jpeg

Think of that spread out over the surfaces of this entire plant. :slide:

image10594.jpeg

image10595.jpeg

The babies are doing well in their nursery.

image10596.jpeg

Over in the Flowering tent a new batch of seeds got dropped.

image10597.jpeg

image10598.jpeg

One Super Cheese planted into this pot.

image10599.jpeg

Three Crossroads planted in this pot. Now we wait.

image10600.jpeg

The CBD Critical Cure is definately due for a drench. Looks like I missed the call by a day. Hmmmm..... Not a practice I want repeated in flower.

image10601.jpeg

The Dark Devil Auto continues to be stunning.

image10613.jpeg

A couple of her side branches have become heavy enough that they need supported. :woohoo: I opted for clothespins. They were right there and they did the trick beautifully. :laughtwo:

image10614.jpeg

image10615.jpeg

image10616.jpeg

This ones right up under the light. Still pushing out pistils to beat the band. A couple more weeks, minimum.

image10617.jpeg

image10618.jpeg

image10619.jpeg

Let me get at this drench. This'll give me an opportunity to add more soil to that pot.

Edit: I gave the LOS no-tills a coconut water/aloe vera juice drench with some added Agsil and a bit of fishy frets, mostly because I hadn't added them yet, so now seemed as good a time as any.

Yes Noob, one tiny ounce at a time. :laughtwo: I'm a control freak. Lol! I find it relaxing, almost meditative to apply the water with such care and precision. It bonds me to the individual plant.

Drenches and soil maintenance

Well, I let her go a day too long, but nothing to be concerned with. Just keep from doing that again Susan.

image10602.jpeg

Pits time to fill in the gap around the edges. I a tarted out in a crate, and when I took them out of the crates it left gaps that were concerning to me. This plant, in particular, obviously needs every bit of root space I can offer her. I started out by mounding fresh dirt around the edges.

image10603.jpeg

Then I pulled out this neat bonsai tool I remembered was in the kit.

image10604.jpeg

Pit has a pointy end for loosening diet and a flattened end for tamping soil in tight places.

image10605.jpeg

Start by using the length of the tool to press dirt into the opening.

image10606.jpeg

Pulse the tamper to gently but firmly press the dirt down into the depths to fill the gaps. it took a bit of time, but time is a commodity I have plenty of.

image10607.jpeg

After I was satisfied that I'd filled all the tiny spaces I finished the drench by scooping and top watering until there was nothing left to scoop. She took every drop.

image10608.jpeg

She recoverd quickly. Very quickly. :laughtwo:

image10609.jpeg

image10610.jpeg

I'm happier with that.

image10611.jpeg

Back in her space under the GOD panel. She looks much happier, eh?
