The Mega Crop Thread

So go from amazon forest to redwood forest?

I'm thinking about skipping the silica and just going straight MC with every other res change on the RDWC. Just to see, since MC has silica already.

Im using mega crop in a indoor soil grow. I switched to happy frog and mixed a quarter of old soil and a quarter of Sand peat moss mix. My well water is 6.8ph and ,380 ppm. Don't have an ec meter yet. I mix mega crop for seedlings at ,900 ppm but accidentally gave one Dancehall plant 1500 ppm. It got a little burnt on the leaf tips by jumped ahead of the others. I'm running at ,1100 ppm now and alternate with rainwater every other feeding. Leaves are dark green and no tip burning or dying fans. My exception is a Landrace Indian plant that is getting only rain and cal mag as she is still small. She popped a month after these plants did.

Filling the scoop to the line is 20g,so that's about right if you want to feed 6g/gal.

Well that seems like a good reason for some nute burn on two of the three girls then! GSC still stuffing herself though, so she keeps getting it at 7g/G.

Well after 2 weeks of dumb ass me not realizing that it was too damn cold in my grow area I got some heat mats and things have progressed. I have 6 strains from a buddy that breeds his own stuff and he said 3 would be guinea pig stuff, and I have been fighting them to pop, the other 3 popped up like champs. So now I have 3, maybe 4 plants more than I need because the damn things were slow to sprout. So now I have 9 seedlings instead of 6, so I'll keep them in their small pots and they'll get in where they fit in. 5 are one week in. Looking forward to this grow.

Maybe pick the 6 strongest at up potting.
Good idea. But I bet the damn things will all look good just to mess with me, lol. I'm trying to figure out how to ask for a new COB light for Christmas without alerting the rest of the family, lol. My mother already looked at me funny when she saw the ph meter on my Christmas list! They know so it's all cool, gotta love it when your parents in their late 60's early 70's that have never touched a drug are 100% in on cannabis for anyone that wants it. Kind of caught me off guard, but rock on!

first MC harvest is in the jars

8 jars at about an ounce and a bit per jar. don't really measure.

my folks pulled them off the racks and jarred them up after hanging 4 days. they were drying too fast, but were caught in time. maybe need a wk of burping. super grateful to the folks. shows their new attitude.

So MC is telling us do not change the ph if it’s in this range ?
ive left the mother plant in dwc alone after the ph adjust , it rose to 6.2 and stayed there ! You can count the bud sites today . Her water and nutrients change is tomorrow. According to the light color I need to up it 1/2 gram a gallon.

What other supplement or product types should I run with MEGA CROP?

Nothing! Since it is a true complete formula, you do not need any other products to get the best results possible. You may want to add some pH adjuster to make sure the nutrient solution being delivered to the plants is between 5.5-6.5 pH for best absorption, this depends on your water supply and is unique to each individual farm.

I do add 2ml CALiMAGic to every third 4.75 gal pail. I need to use 8 - 10 drops of pH up to get to a pH of 6.0.

I’m thinking the plant above (the frozen one) needs some calmag, but mama plant I’m just going to up the MC! It just yellowed overnight and the tds ppm dropped 70 ppm in two days .
I’m sure thinking mama needs 12/12 !

With my ro water my ph lands on 6.1-6.2 ,I had to use acid to bring it down to 5.8 !

Pretty much, yep. If you're in that range, you're good.
been ph'ing to 5.8(ish)
pre-mixing a couple feeds and letting it sit between. have noticed ph stays more stable in the bucket than i anticipated.
i ph once and just feed til the bucket's finished.

Chop day!!!! :blunt: flower day 65

Finished her out with a 7 day straight water flush. I was feeding at 6.5 g per gallon for the last week before flushing.

I'm very happy with the results. 19/20 of the clones rooted & flowered. 15/20 performed exceptionally. I could definitely use multiple cloners for a perpetual setup but I think I'll stick to manifolding monsters.

Nugs are sticky stanky and dense.

Hopefully it's at least 5 or 6 zips after it's dried & cured. I left a couple inches of the root ball on the bottoms just for show. I want them to look au natural.
