The Mega Crop Thread

yes, true. It would need to be packaged in a sealed/air tight bag/container.
The stuff I have is finally pretty stable. I've been using MC for six years now and I've been through every incarnation of MC since.

A few had some pretty serious issues with shelf stability. I have #25 lbs of MC I bought
2-3 years ago. It was stored in two plastic bags in a pail with a brand new gamma lid and it turned to crap within months. It was kept in a cool, dry place indoors.

I had another version pretty early on that also had some issues. I think that was Ver 2.

Whatever version I have I'm not sure. When was the last time the formula was changed?
That would give me a good place to start.

Point is...the version I have now is good and assuming that it's the most recent one,I'm wondering why we are changing it to Calcium Chloride?

Thanks

Interesting that people have issues with the too high N levels in the CalMag! We are considering switching to Calcium Chloride in the future, since its 0 Nitrogen. Maybe people would prefer this.
I’d love that :thanks:
0 nitrogen would be fantastic.

It was their 12-0-0 calmag that they were pondering changing, not MC. Lots of brands (Botanicare for example) are closer to 2-0-0 and made with calcium nitrate and magnesium nitrate. The only 0-0-0 one I've used is TPS.
Oh good.

I kinda panicked.

Thanks
