The Mega Crop Thread

Sorry about the previous post. Was cycling between google and this site, somehow it posted half written reply’s :/ Googled around and found hydroguard locally. Thank you all for your quick reply’s!

Here’s a few pics, roots and canopy... don’t roast me too hard, I’m a noob!
Nice roots and even nicer canopy! I use the Z7 and hydroguard. When my roots look as good as yours only 50% of each product is used !

Hey all quick question . I've been seeing some colors I don't want to see this past week. You can see in the pics what I'm dealing with. Also on a couple plants you can see the dark green changing shades lighter. I'm seeing some orange at the tips of a few fan leaves. Most is at bottom or middle of the plants.
I'm at 6 gr MC and depending on the plant they are in diff weeks of flowering avg of about 3 weeks into flower. Any ideas what's going on I'd love to hear it. Thanks!

offhand it looks like phosphorus def.

maybe couple other tiny things.
edit: should have added to maybe stretch it a half gram if you are feeding in proper ph range

plants are in 1gal fabric pots? My order will be in on Monday

I'd start with 3gm/gal and work up from there.

heya friend,, might i recommend you peruse the mega crop website and locate the feeding calculator,, correct dosages for differing plant stages are listed there,,

real easy too

cheers friend

All on mc

The first four photos look pretty light (green). Is that due to the lighting or camera? What’s your current MC dose?

Any deficiencies should correct with a slight dose increase (1/2g/gal). Be careful though - the newest growth looks pretty dark (green) in the photos.

Hi @Deketx ... I think you and I are seeing similar issues. I believe that to get to this point, we have made similar mistakes, by rapidly moving our newly flowering plants up to the supposed max of 6g/g of MC. I am looking at your deep deep hunter's green on your bud shot and thinking that I saw something similar here before I determined that I was overdosing my plants. I am having a similar potassium problem, but not as developed as yours is.
It is my belief that too much MC can lock out potassium. I have tried backing my MC dosage down 1 full gram per gallon to try to stop this. You just got the opposite advice here on this thread. I don't envy the decision you now have to make.

Thanks for the reply all. @emily my first thought was to back off as well. I guess we are all learning here as we go. Four are showing this deficiency. The 4 other plants show some tip yellowing and maybe the start of what's going on on the others at the very bottom of them.

I premixed some MC to prepare for a feeding tomorrow morning, about 4 grams roughly 10 hours ago in a 500ml bottle....i shook it like no ones business throughout the day because i noticed there were still some fine grains visible(what im assuming are the balls)....i thought they would dissolve but it doesnt seem to be.
The mc was also grinded up with a coffee grinder before being put into the bottle.

Anyone have success completely dissolving these fine grains? Or is this something i dont need to worry about.
I imagine these fine grains would stay on the top layer of the soil if not completely dissolved
