The Mega Crop Thread

The issue with that is, this all started right after I gave a feed at 1000ppm, and got some tip burn. I had been doing about 850-875 before that, with no issues. My last feeds were at 875 and 815. Do you think 100-200ppm can go from so little to cause yellow to so much to cause burn?

*Sorry again, to be taking up space on this thread with my issues

they look plain hungry to me.

don't concentrate on ppm. pay attention to grams / gallon, or grams / litre if you are all metric like me... :cheesygrinsmiley:

i only log ppm to see where it sits with MC. i don't feed by it.
used to feed by ppm in salt-based ferts. that is what it is for.
MC is a bit different.

feed by how the plant looks. they look hungry.

also pots look kinda small. may be other issues.
those soil ph testers aren't worth the buckshot to send them to kingdom. pls tell me you are not ph'ing by that.
ph your feed water not the soil.

Bluter would be upset if you didn’t chime in

this right here ^ ^

this thread is for everyone. post all you want.

gives us some more info as well. media, lighting, feed sched, etc.
hope to see you here.

So my girls are at 3 weeks. They got 2grams MC on Wednesday. Are y'all watering MC each watering or every other? Thanks

I'm in a peat based soil-less mix and I feed every watering and about 1g for every week they are old (up to 6g).

Most of mine are in FFOF ( first and last time), some are in Detroit Nutrient Co organic soil.

1am and I'm finally done choppin cheese. It took three of us three hours to get it all in the drying rack.

It's late...I'ma head to bed.
Here's some pics. :slide:

So today marks the end of the first week that I’ve introduced Bud Explosion.
My feed for this weed has been:
6g MegaCrop + .5g Bud Explosion

All of the ladies responded very well to the mix and I’ll be increasing for this upcoming week 5 of flower to:
6g MegaCrop + 1g Bud Explosion

This will be continued to the end of week 6 where I’ll stop using Bud Explosion untI’m I harvest!

Hope your all enjoying your Saturday so far!

I finished my job for the day, installing the automatic watering system. That gives me a few days to tune it up before we leave Christmas Eve.

Automatic Watering and Drippers for GDP #2

I mounted two sets of four drippers per line on the ring from a tomato cage. I cut through the ring, to allow it to pass around the plant. A piece of irrigation tubing holds the cut ends in place. These drippers are on the same pump as the drippers for the plants in the other tent.

I went looking for a place to drill a hole for the suction tube. I had a senior moment, before I realized I could use the wave generator support.

The plants got three times the nutrient solution they usually do. Coco/perlite will just let the extra drain out.

Beautiful plants. Super curious about your watering rings.

Ha! That's what I'm doing today myself. :D

The smell is so wonderful when I unzip the tent. I have noticed some of the plants may need a little jump in MC. I am super happy with my plants but feel that in flower I am leaving something on the table. I am going to order Bud Explosion also to run on 1-2 plants. No I can’t leave well enough alone.

Wow! has the smell from that Monolithic cheese cleared out yet?

I make a mean blue cheese coleslaw in the summer when I run the smoker. Mmmmm mmmm goood.

OK, OK, I run the smoker in the winter too, but skip the coleslaw. Goes better in the warmer weather over colder, I think.

I like Blue Cheese, both the edible and smokeble kind, but the rest of the family doesn't care for the edible kind. I do a Pineapple Jalapeno Cole Slaw that is fantastic with BBQ, either on top of pulled pork or on the side. Sriracha Mac and Cheese is usually the other side. It's pretty unoriginal to always have the same two side with our BBQ, but then again, why mess up a good thing.

Just mixed 2 DWC buckets, both with RO Water . The PH is 7.5 and the TDS of 12 ppm Hanna scale.

After I added the MegaCrop nutrients 24 grams into 4 gallons of ro water, the PH went to 5.7 and the TDS 1001 ppm .

I'd say you're good to go.

I’m going to change the buckets out in the morning. Want to see if the ph rises without the plant in there ! The mama WW has taken over 500 ppm in six days !

Cal/mag is the first, and so far the only, deficiency my plants have complained about. Rather than fight it throughout the grow, I calibrated what I needed to the amount of Mega Crop used, and add that to every batch of nutrients. It's working for me so far...
Me too salt. I definitely needed it for a couple.of the ladies under the Led. spotting on a few fans. All good with a balanced silica and calmag addition . I am in V3 too. wish I had the confidence to go with the shogun flowering nuts but have backed out in sensible mature manner.lol Soon as I get comfortable with the mc I will see where it goes.
