Cheers mate, the tripod is soooo much easier than crawling around on your knees and bashing your head off the light.. it could hold bigger pots too, so i reckon I can use it for about 3 or 4 weeks. No more bad backs and bumped heads...

Strains - Alcapulco Gold, Jack Herer and Northern light. All fem and photo
Light setting and height- Set at minimum @ 20 inches
Lux- 5400
Medium - Off the shelf compost. Young seedling mix, young plant mix and mature plant compost
Nutrients- Off the shelf, liquid organic fruit and vegetable feed
Grow space - 1 metre x 1metre x 2metre
Extraction - AC infinity T6 with smart controller + Carbon filter
Final pot size - To be confirmed
Temp - 23 (seedling tray)
Rh- 64
Water - Bottled mineral water

Howdy do folks, hope alls growing well on yourside..

Let's get straight to it! We have life above ground
Here is the Alcapulco gold (Venus)

And here is the Northern light (Aurora)

So the next step is sticking them under the @Mars Hydro FC-E4800
But, with me being lazy, I wanted a way to have the seedlings at eye level and be able to adjust the height when needed, so I didn't have to bend down.
so, after a bong or 3, I came up with this idea

Camera tripod, adjustable seedling table

I took the mounting bracket off the bottom of the camera, drilled some screw holes in it and mounted it to a bit of scrap flooring I had lying about.

And Hey presto! We have an adjustable table

It's got a handle you can wind the post up and down with and the legs are telyskopik teliscopic tellyscop adjustable..
so, I've dialled them in at 20inches, 5450 lux. I will increase the lux a little bit every other day, until I get to around 7000 for the first week.

I will keep an eye out for stretchyness. I've got the heat mat set so It comes on when the lights go out, as I want to keep them between 22°C and 24°C.

The JH still hasn't popped, so I'm going to soak another 2 and see what happens..So that's it for tonight.

Thanks mate, the choices are all recommended strains by our fellow members. I'm on a search for a happy pain relief for the wife.. as all the pain relief ones so far have been really heavy..

you would think I have been shrunk down in real life.. i only take a size 6 shoe..I'm miniature, compared to most folks. In certain regions anyway but Cheers man, all compliments make Mr P Squiggle a very happy grower..

I am partial to and running low on my Burberry Brit....but I do want a dab press like what, too..and the tripod...and a camera...

Santa is going to be delivering a load of dabpress things this year.. it's on my list also
A good camera is a must, plus the tripods are multi purpose. You will have to make sacrifices though, santa isn't made of money, keep the perfume prezzie for your birthday..

Just another quick update and photo dump.
The Jack Herer is alive I totally forgot about it soaking in the cotton pad; it had shed it's helmet and was looking for light.

I've managed to carefully plant it, with its head above ground

I've upped the lux to 8000 by cranking the handle on the table, to get them a little closer to the light.

Sorry for the late replies folks, I've been effectively blind for the past few days. I put my reading glasses on top of the car whilst getting in and drove off with them on the roof.

So I've had no glasses until these brand new ones I've got now. I've been trying to read the forum with a huge magnifying glass, which was pretty unpleasant to say the least.
Anyways..
