The Love Gang - Multi Strain - First Grow

Fuck it im gonna call in a couple favours and get in a one plant tent, fan and light. Put a scrog in there and put the mama mia into flower after a bit of training through the screen. Then just leave the 3 babies to fill out the 4x4. Ill put the scrog in here as soon as Ive moved the MM out. Might be a few days until plan is put into action though.

Question, before i fully commit to this? Will the 3 in 5 gal pots be enough to fill out the 4x4 scrog or should I plant another seed now? Its not like Im goint be playing stupid catch up like I am now. Or would it be feasible to take a clone from the mama mia?

You may want to drop that question in another thread too.
I haven't scrogged, so I wouldn't want to decide for you.

I can cram 3 large autos in 3 gallon pots in a 2'x4' tent.
If you scrog, I think that makes them take up a great deal more lateral area.
So I can see 3 large plants filling that, with extend vegetation period if needed.

3-4 should fill up a 4x4 nicely if they are Photoperiod you decide when to flip ... if you have autos maybe 3 will fill her but probably not it all depends on the strains
this is my last plant in a 4x4 she hasnt been scrogged instead lst and not to extreme as well .... so 3 will probably do in coco or 2 in hydro and 4 in soil ... how is that for a refference ? hehe

I am in soil but Im using photos so yer shouldnt be to long to fill out if I drop the scrog early

Haha when you described it this is exactly what i saw in my head. Im using smart pots though so wouldnt hold it that great. Definitely a idea to tinker with though. Maybe a wide spread tomato cage and ziptie a net over the top?

So anyway enough diversions lol. Week 5 day 3. I have been dealing with low humidity but im using conti pads as drip trays. They dry out pretty quickly but i give them a good dosing every day when i spray my plants and change them out every time i feed. So thats water-water&mol-feed. So thats every 5 days (actually more like 7 now im drying them out longer) so no real chance of any nastiness building. This bring my humidity from high 20s/low 30s up to 50-60 then by the time i come back next day its just getting back down to 30s.
But thats it for today. Ill take pics tommorow of the results of our topping of the babies. Want the transformation to be a bit more dramatic (theyre doing well lol).

It looks like they aren't mad at the low humidity. The first month is when higher humidity counts the most. Keeping your humidity ideal is ideal, but when they are older, they can deal with things outside the ideal easier. I also learned that the hard way. I did the same thing frying my little ones with way too much light coupled with 20%-30% humidity. Had they been given enough humidity they would have had a fighting chance. That being said, I would recommend a Vicks pediatric vaporizer pointed away from your plants (see early on in my second grow for my reasoning behind that) and a timer that goes on a few hours after you spray. I also use a cool mist humidifier. It doesn't do much for the humidity but it blows out nice cool air and my 4x4 is always 75-79ºF with 50-60% humidity. Night is 65ºF and 40's humidity. You are doing a nice job in there. Just keep giving them what they ask for. I'll pull up a chair next to PT and Mr.A, what up guys:popcorn::passitleft:...vicks really needs to put me on their payroll.

Thanks for the support. Yer thats exactly what I did with my first lot of babies. Thats why im left with one big bitch and 3 littlens :(. Ive got the situ under control though. Big mamas going in a single plant tent to flower and im gonna stretch out the babies. I seem to have the humidity under control now though so were good.

Ok. Wk 5 day 4.
So thanks to Asesino I am now going to give quadlining a go on my babies. I should have stripped before I topped but I had already topped when I found out about quadlining but oh well.
They have been given a very weak feeding. 1ml grow, 0.5 ml magnecal+ per litre, they also got a spray with my new evolution spray nutes. Im letting the mama mia dry out for another night just to see how she does but she also got a spray with the evo (Im not playing catch up anymore so lets beef this bitch up).
The stem pic is for Asesino,s benefit. For a reference that stem is as fat as my ring finger id say i have normal size man hands.
Oh I also bent some of those higher tops on the mama mia.

Quick update. Got my mini tent up, getting fan, lights etc in the morning and getting the mama mia and screen in there. Ill train her for a bit , play it by ear not expecting more than 2 weeks once the scrogs on though.

wow yer doing some harcore training there ... i mean if i look at that mainline plant i go auch have ye done this before ? does the mainline makes up for the removed branches ?
Its something ive seen on some other guys journal his names Asesino. He usually strips before he tops but I had literally just topped them when I saw what it did to his plants. I reccomend checking it out.
Ive "assisted" with other peoples grows who were firm believers in stripping and training. And yes it does make up for the removed branches as these will now just be 4 big ass arms trained horizontally with a load of tops coming up in the middle. Asesino has plants that look scrogged WITHOUT the scrog lol

Oh also mine are photos not autos so I can veg as long as I like and the stress wont effect the end yield.
