Come on eh.....remember him .
Ever heard of The Dixie Dreggs?
Ever seen him play....wow!
He's incredable. Been in a few big bands. I had never heard of him. Thanks.

Right now hes playin with Deep Purple.....
Cheers Toed.
I love Deep Purple. Perfect Strangers is a favorite album of mine

Right on Toed...listen to some of his Dixie Dreggs stuff...pretty amazing too.
Cheers man! :high-five:
Nice!

It's funny we have been talking rock guitarist for a bit I offer the following. I have my stereo on for probably 10 hours a day and I rarely play rock. I work at home, so my stereo keeps me company. Most of the time I'm after sound quality as much as the style of music. I use Spotify, and have two playlists. One has bands like Black Flag, Broken Bones, Slayer, Testament. The other is a daily thing with bands like Morcheba, Air, Zero 7, Thievery Corp. The first list is great... better than a cup of coffee, but if I'm drawing it makes me want to kick a hole in my monitor when stuff goes sideways. The second list is marginally better... so far

Anyway, a very high quality recording that sounds incredible on a decent stereo is from yet another amazing guitarist (and band). Mark Knofler of Dire Straits fame. The song is Private Investigations. I could go on about this song and a few more they've done that make the regular rotation, but I'll spare you

Evenin Doobs...Toed and gang. Ya for sure MK, can't argue there man.
Funny u say funny...cuz as soon as i get home from work, every day, i turn on my TV (has amp hooked up to it)and play Stingray,...Jazz Masters,..laugh ..it's cool. Ive listened to classic rock when it came out, over 45 yrs. ago, ha, i'm just tired of it , i guess. I'm not a huge blues guy but theres a dude out here named Doug MacLeod. I've seen him twice. If all blues sounded like that I would never listen to anything else.

Toed...i'm thinkin , Blues and Jazz are in your future! :high-five:
You're talking madness by friend. I just looked up Mr. MacLeod. He seems pretty popular online. Give him a test drive

So I did the first Cat drench on the kit plants yesterday, here is the before shot, I think they’re looking great so far. Loving that they only need water once a week because it’s a pain in the neck. Next time I’m going to hook up a pump for watering like I’ve got for the hempies.

And the hempies are doing well too. The BCP in the back right seemed to need a bit more nitrogen so I gave it a double dose of MegaCrop for a couple days then back on the Rx Green flower nutes. That’s the downfall of watering with the pump and tubes; they all get the exact same nutes no matter what.

The two little Northern Lights clones in the 2’x2’ have grown a ton but I think the timer is broken, I can’t really figure out how it’s working, it seems to turn off and on randomly. I wonder if it’ll turn all hermie so I just left them. They weren’t destined for greatness anyways.

:passitleft:
Both pictures look great, the second one looks good, but the first one looks like its gonna go crazy in a little bit. I'm gonna invite myself over again a couple weeks after you pick these.

Yeah in the Hempy tent I think I didn’t pull the netting tight enough and it kind of worked but also pulled up along with the plants as they grew instead of locking them into place. The kit plants have a stretchy cargo net that’s a lot tighter and easier to use.

I also tried to split them up to keep the similar stretching strains together, really worked well in the soil tent, but the Candida and Black Cherry Punch in the other tent stretched a lot more than the other two.

That's actually a good thing. The sativa leaning Candida may have lower, wispier yields, but the CBD content is higher.

Heya DD :ciao:
Your tents are looking great - the high brix tent especially! :thumb: Interesting that the center plant is a slightly different shade of green than the others - Northern Lights maybe? You've got a nice variety of plants going on - something like 10 different ones?

I'm stoked for you. This will be fun to watch!

Try all the other methods...u gonna stick to DBHBB. :headbanger:
Sometimes it takes time for newer growers to get all those other systems outta their systems......:surf:

That would include me. I'm watching and seeing cooking, drenches, teas, and amendments worked into the surface of the soil. Add in the close attention needed to watering the soil and it seems to be a labor intensive method of feeding/watering the plants.

I like the coco/perlite substrate. It's a straight mix and water system. Automatic feeding is easy to implement as overwatering is almost impossible. Mega Crop's one part nutritional system adds to the ease of growing. I can leave for a couple of weeks without worries about the grow, as the nutrients can be mixed weeks or even months in advance.

DBHBB probably does give you a better product to smoke. It may have higher potency than other methods of growing. Where I take mine in capsules, does it really make sense to switch? I will keep an eye on DBHBB and other organic growing methods. Until I have a valid reason for change, I'll stick with what I'm doing.

Of course this is from someone who hasn't even tried product grown in DBHBB.
