I'm in the land of Doob. I brought a couple jars of questionable bud to squeeze. We may get together tomorrow if the planets align. Fingers crossed.

Didnt even notice that.Love the "California...a smoke free state" sign .
No, there was like 5 or 7 of those wax papers total. But it did only yield about 10%. We squished it at 220° for about 3 minutes. That was the whole jar??
My best squisheseses is at 5+ min
Slow 1+
Grab some pressure for 2+
Wrench on her till no bubbles are showing
I also dont use bags
Never any good results with them, did comparison, and no bags always did better for me
That’s how I do it. I don’t start the timer until after the pressure builds up a bit. I’ve noticed more than about 3 minutes at pressure causes it to darken and have a bit of a burnt taste. I think the bags are 120 micron. We used a round prepress “bottle tech” style to pack up two 7g bags and squish them together. I got better yields doing one at a time, and best yield % with 3.5g pucks. Different strains press differently too.Pretty much how I do it too...
1 minute warmup (100 PSI)
3 minute press (1500 PSI)
1 minute hard press (2500 PSI)
Plate pressure is double as the ram piston is 2 sq in.
Figures are for 7gm, 30mm pucks, bottle tech style
Increase pressure slowly! Too fast results in filter bag blowout!
