The Legion Of Doob: Perpetual Chaos

ate 10 gummies
You either really like your gummies or you need to up the strength of your oil!

That IIP bud looks great, as do all the jars in the larder :). Here's my IIP after thinning yesterday:

It keeps growing and growing!

Every psychologist I've been to say's I'm fine and not to worry too much. The voices in my head are normal but be careful about doing what they tell me.
Sounds like you probably have good enough insurance to be considered sane. :p

They're delicious candies, making them too strong seems like a bad idea for someone like me with no will power.

:laughtwo: bo! That’s lard - used to describe solidified animal fat. A larder is a food store/cupboard. But you know - I’ll bet the etymology of the words shows a close relationship. Now you’ve made me want to look it up :D:surf:

It's not bacon.

Asked my smarty pants wife - "its called larding the meat"

How wood you like your meat larded?

Single stitch or we overlock? lol

Lard had something to do with it. Remember those crocks many had before refrigeration? One of the things they were used for was to store sausage for the winter. They'd load them up with as many sausages as possible, and then cover them with rendered pork fat, which is lard. They'd be stored in the cold cellar, and you'd dig out what you needed.

We used to do this every fall when we slaughtered a hog or two. Processing the meat, smoking the ham, rendering the fat, and making sausages was a lot of work.
That’s it! Thanks Salty :thumb:

I am not crazy, my mom had me tested..... Ha...
“... although, I did always regret not following up with that specialist...”

My mom had me tested too...

Me too told me it was an IQ test - seemed more in line with a "special person" test.

Confirmed completely abnormal, so they sent me to school for computer programming.
lol

That was back when computers were locked away in a "special" room. Yay me.

Whats this "will power" you speak of?? Asking for a friend!

:nerd-with-glasses:

so they sent me to school for computer programming.

Grade 13 in Ontario... grade 12 secretary's introduction to computers... HYPOthetical computer language... COBOL... going to the bank with the teacher to run the punch cards through the bank's Honeywell 400...

I got bored in class so I wrote my first interpreter. I used FORTRAN to write a HYPO interpreter that would run on the bank's computer. The school used it until they got a DEC PDP-11 six years after I graduated. Before that the teacher had to drive an hour to Western University to interpret/run the class assignments twice a week.

lol - wow 70s dreams. Punch cards, I pretended I didn't know anything about them.

Always wondered why a lot of the file inputs had a 80byte length .. not really. lol

I was a network guy - was looking at the internet in 86. Was basically no encryption and no security bank transfers. Was awesome - the cash flowing thru the wires. We could see it.

Even now security is laughable. I wrote an infinite length key algorithm about 20 years ago. Without physical access it's unbreakable.

No, but that's how I know which one to listen too. When I hear my mom/ dad I stop and change my mind.

Maybe something to random head bumps. Why I wear a hat a lot of the time. lol
