The Joy Of Growing - SweetSue Goes Perpetual

Soo happy I started getting into this thread! Your making me want to set up for perpetual growing, I need more things to do. Haha either way Sue Hope all is well and hazy in your neck of the woods.

Just having my brownie to keep the brain level and buzzed, so yeah, a bit hazy. :laughtwo: I'm glad you enjoy it. Graytail or B A R are the ones who should be inspiring perpetual. I have aspirations. :laughtwo:

Mmmmm..... That brownie was tasty. Best part is when it hits the system in about ten minutes. :cheesygrinsmiley:

I just went to the control panel and the reset of the likes/thanks count says I have 7,625 new likes/thanks. :laughtwo:

This system is neat, but it's going to take some getting acclimated to. To the listening omnipotent among us

Thank you so much

:hugs:

well its always nice to know people think well of you and you certainly deserve all the praise and more! Congrats on your harvest! :)

Why thank you LA. They know I love them all dearly. They've been the best gardening companions one could hope to find.

I heard you're on oil now. Good. I need to figure out how to grow more so I can at least make some. I have a theory that we could all benefit from it, even those like me who are perfectly healthy.

Yeah Cajuns been on at me for a while now to get on it! Then with my girls anxiety hitting big during Prague show meant Paul from budmaster immediately suggested the oil for her. Then as it is there it seemed daft not to take it myself, even as you say I'm healthy :)

My daughter has a debilitating anxiety disorder and I'm hoping to be able to convince her to try some. As her mother I'm driven to try to find some way to get her brain to settle down. Has it helped? Your girl, I mean. For you and I it only makes sense to get more cannabis into the system. I plan to live to around ninety, and I'd like to do that spry, thank you very much. Between Callanetics and cannabis, I should make it with no problem.

That reminds me. Callanetics!

Its early days on the oil and the dosing is very small. Were using a 4.5% CBD oil with tiny amount of THC. She claims its helping to even her out some but we shall see.
Im useless as I never use trim for anything just chuck it and smoke my bud. Yet now I'm thinkiingof doing some myself down the line. Just more potent me thinks as my girl has high limits with everything lol...
I'll keep you informed on her progress and hopefully this will be what you daughter needs!

Thank you LA, I appreciate that. She's as stubborn and hard-headed as her mother can be, but it's so hard to deal with. Thankfully,Mathis year she met her soulmate, which I believe will do more than anything else to help her until I can get her on oil. I have so much faith in the healing power of love.

One of the challenges I'm having with her is a severe sensitivity to THC.

Dark Devil Auto (Day 64)

It's fascinated me that every specimen of this strain I've grown looked different from the others. The baby, in LOS, would have given me prime opportunity to compare the soils. Ah well, I have many seeds to play with.

This specimen, in Doc Bud's Kit soil, takes my breath away every time I pull the Afghani and get back there. Today it was to give her the first CAT drench. :yahoo:

What a beautiful plant. She's really just all cola, isn't she, more or less? LOVE the colours, Sue. She looks like an exotic spice bush of some kind -- aromatic and fragrant :)

Afghani #2 (Day 120)

Out for a thorough aloe vera/coconut water drench meant a swift photo shoot without all the burple lighting.

image3175.jpeg

Just starting to really frost up. These LOS plants always surprise at how they take off and coat the sugar leaves. Any of you remember how exciting that was my first grow???

image3176.jpeg

Geez.... She deserved so much more than I gave her. I actually apologized to her today and promised to faithfully attend to her remaining drenches. Every bit of her harvest goes to my patient and I'm hoping it can get him through at least until I return and can get him some of the cured inventory. I have no idea what she's going to give me in the end.

image3177.jpeg

I'm looking forward to growing this strain out again under better conditions. This specimen started out compromised and has done a bang-up job of staying the course, but every time I look at her I feel bad. I could have doubled the yield by paying closer attention.

Yeah, I know. That's the point where I remind myself that he died. Dale was a veteran of the Navy, and he's been so much on my mind today, with all the emphasis on veterans. God, I miss his boney ass. It's noteworthy that I've only had one episode so far today where I dissolved into tears, and that passed rather quickly. I've learned not to get cocky about it. Grief is rediculously capricious.

OK, one more post and I can get to Callanetics. I let myself get seriously distracted last night and stayed up all night reading instead of pulsing. I learned a lot, but the body is stiff today from sitting on the floor and reading until 5 AM.

Daily Update: Perpetual Tent - Week 18, Day 4

Maintenance notes:
- The baby Dark Devil Auto and Afghani #2 each got a sweet aloe vera/coconut water drench.
- The middle Dark Devil Auto got her first CAT drench.

Let's take a look at what's left, shall we? Come with me....... :battingeyelashes:

The lights that were over the White Widow got repositioned. I put two 40 watt bulbs down beside the Dark Devil Auto, and I'll make it a point to get back there every day from now on to give her a 1/4 turn. The other pair became part of the box of light around Jamaican Dream.

image3168.jpeg

I didn't mention earlier, but when I clipped the White Widow at the soil line and lifted her out of the pot soil critters went running. An absurdly exciting moment for an LOS no-till gardener. :laughtwo:

image3169.jpeg

They're all getting fatter by the day. That Unknown Seed is going to have every inch of the stems covered if she keeps going the way she has, and she's not showing any strong signs of a fade yet. :slide:

Soaking up the lumens.

"Don't forget me!"

image3173.jpeg

That's all I got today guys. Wasn't that fun? Haha! Gosh, I just love putting these posts together for you to enjoy. You have no idea. I giggle a lot while I work and there's music playing the whole time. I'm so spoiled. :battingeyelashes:

I have a meditation to fit in and then it's hit the mat for some serious body work. I'm so looking forward to running a non-stop Callanetics camp in Phoenix. I haven't taught them since 1992, I believe it was. My mind's already gearing up into instructor mode.

I'll be in and out all evening and into the night I'm sure. See you around the threads. Thanks for visiting. :battingeyelashes: :green_heart:

God, I miss his boney ass.

I wish someone would say that about my...
usually just harassment, 'Holy fuck, you need to eat!' ..etc..:scratchinghead:

Awhh! Shucks. I dunno what to say, barely knowing you..
Thanks for marrying a hero sue! Much love to all vets, with us or not, AND their spouses. Think often times the spouses are forgotten, but our heros would be nothing without another hero at home holding down the fort.:hugs:

That man of fewer than few words I lived and loved with for 35 years could have eaten a horse and not put one ounce of weight on that boney ass of his. Chicken legs too. Haha! Our daughter inherited the legs, but they translated better into female form. Haha! It was an ongoing family joke that he had no ass. Geez...... He was so much fun to live with. :laughtwo:
