Well I survived the extractions. Still have 30 minutes of a mouth full of gauze, and then I just have to survive the pain. Thankfully, I have excellent pain meds that beat the hell out of the Vicodin they prescribe. Two days of extreme caution. Five extractions at once, I'm going to be feeling this later. Settling in to do much of nothing other than stay buzzed and listening to music.

A note on the extractions. Totally buzzed from the breakfast brownie, earbuds in, the Novocain kicked in and yes, there is a nice pairing effect with the cannabis. I pulled up a YouTube video of Cajun music, 'cause I love the bounce and rhythm and they went to work on the extractions.
My dentist said I was the only patient they've ever treated who hummed and sang through the extractions.

Totally blitzed. I took B A R's advice and had a joint when I came home and got the damned gauze out of my mouth at long last. Those teeth were scattered all through my mouth so the entire thing got hit with the Novocain. I had to sit in front of the mirrors to watch myself Smoke the joint because I couldn't feel it hit my lip.
Ouch. I have to be careful when I laugh. I need to figure out how to eat a brownie. I'm thinkin' tiny bites. I could break it up, saturate it with milk and kinda slurp it down, eh? Yeah, that might work. I'll need milk. In a little bit here I can feel the need will arise for pain modulation.
Chocolate canna brownie flavour milkshake. I see it now, printed on the front of a bottle.

Views From The Perpetual Tent: Week 16 - Day 5
I planned on no maintenance today.
The tiny pots aren't turning out much in yield this run, but that wasn't my expectation. They're keeping up with demand so far and they're teaching me. I've already learned to take a closer look at chosen strains. Some really detest the small pots and refuse to get any real growth going. They sure are interesting to watch though, aren't they? I think of this as my "Taster's Garden". My chance to try strains I might not otherwise get the chance to grow. You just have to be willing to accept stunted growth.

A quick glance at the ceiling. Don't often get this shot, but it shows how I tackled reinforcing the roof and gaining lots of places to clip and hang from.
This pre-filter will get me through the harvest, but next run I put on a new one.
One last glance back. Ahhhh...... Contentment.
I'm gonna see if I can find something soft out here to eat. Should have gotten cottage cheese. Starting to get hungry. Wish me luck.
You all continue in your own joyful paths. I'm taking the evening to chill in the extreme. This might be a good day for a movie. Haven't turned the TV on since his amputation in February. Sound like an idea. I'll be in and out, so I'll be seeing you around the yards.

Did a quick run to the store. Found cottage cheese (yum!) and milk. Now I can have my regular evening meds. They're so much more effective and last twice as long or longer as edibles.

I know, looks like crap. Tastes incredible!!!! The cold milk was a nice touch. I don't drink much milk, in fact I had to go to the store for this because my last pint ran out three days ago. Didn't occur to me until right now I have some chocolate soy milk.... Nope, we bought that for Dale. I think I may need to toss that.
Might be time to tear the fridge apart for a thorough cleaning.
Mmmmmm.... I feel that brownie kicking in just in the nick of time. Either I have an extraordinary dentist or this Strawberry Blue is good for pain. More likely a combination.

Yes, that one was indeed takes with an iPhone 4. They improve the camera with each new issue. Tomorrow I may upgrade to a new one. I've always been happy with my iPhone cameras. My daughter recently got a Galaxy and she's really happy with the picture quality with that as well. It's too big and bulky for me. Thank you for the compliment. I think I'll treat the guys over on the eye candy thread to that one. You good John?
Sue I don't know if you drink coffee...if you do I like to make "bulletproof" coffee with coconut oil and butter. You could just use cannabutter if you wanted. The actual recipe is to take 12oz coffee and blend it with 1tbs virgin coconut oil and 1tbs butter. It comes out frothy and good. Of course I wouldn't add 1 whole tbs of cannabutter though, we wouldn't hear from you for days if you did that. I love bulletproof coffee so much it is my avatar pic right now.

Well, this is something I'll have to try, and then when I get cannabutter made try that too. Sounds delicious. Have you tried it with canna butter?
Not yet but as soon as I get some made its the first thing I am going to do!!!! It's a s good or better than anything Starbucks can make you. I add a half teaspoon of sugar to mine also.
