Daily Update: Perpetual Tent - Week 10, Day 5
Let's start with the important stuff -
Harvest: Auto Jock Horror x Auto Amnesia- Day 63
This is one of the smallest harvests I've done so far. What I denied her in stature and bulk she's going to make up for in potency. I won't be weighing her. Quite frankly, as soon as she's dry enough, she'll be smoked right up and enjoyed. This was a survival mode run. We will forever after speak of this unfortunate time as "SweetSue's HB Kinda' Test Run" agreed?
I didn't bother with 5 gallon buckets for this wash, but pulled together some basins instead. I've had my hands in the wash water three times now and I have a feel for what the first wash should look and feel like, so I winged it.
This was my cleanest wash to date. I should have snapped a picture of the first wash. No gnats, no dander, no dirt to speak of. I believe we call that part of "environmental control"
If you zoom in here you can see she's completely coated with trichomes.
Not there yet, but improving. Don't worry guys, I'll get this root growing thing.
Hanging to dry in the hallway.
Now let's check on everyone else.
The seedlings in the tent. So far only Strawberry Blue and Auto Jack Herer are up. Buddha Tahoe OG is just now pushing up through the soil surface and should be up by the time I get back home from a meeting in town.
The seedlings in the Tiny Closet.
Look who decided to make an entrance today! Good morning little Carnival!
Back into the tent.
Auto Destroyer has taken a serious attitude on me. I'm going to go out on a limb here and say it's poor root structure. See? I am learning. You can believe I will do everything in my power to keep from having this repeat itself again.
African Buzz (Day 64) has a bit of an attitude this morning too. WTH??? I gave them both a spray of DeStress.
Cheese Candy (Day 65) still purring away contentedly in her corner, getting fatter, frostier and more fragrant with each day.
The environment holding steady.
Who doesn't love a shot of a baby?
So begins the end of this particular cycle. I can't tell you what a relief it is to get this cycle to its end run. There were moments guys. *sigh*
We have a picture perfect Burgh day in the making here. Harvest, even one as meager as this one, puts me into the most loving frame of mind. I never take the sacrifice of the plant lightly and take time to thank her for working so hard to offer me quality meds, regardless of their limited quantity. We all know it's not about quantity anyway, don't we?
Have a wonderful day in your little corner of paradise. Get out there and spread the joy around. Life is a much better experience when you leave that positive energy behind you as you pass through. I'll do my best over here.
