The Joy Of Growing - SweetSue Goes Perpetual

Things are hopping, bubbling, frothing and fizzing at Sue's place I see, as usual  To put my 2c in re the next seed order, which you mentioned a couple pages back, and as an excuse to say hi-
I vote for Jack Herer. The one from Sensi Seeds. I've grown the version you have Sue and didn't like it so much.
Also, secondly, Girl Scouts Cookies, or one of it's relations, for the incredible intoxicating smell.
And thirdly, I vote for you growing a pure sativa of some sort. I've been growing Mama Thai from Seedsman for the last eight months and I'm very fond of it. I'm also sprouting some Thai stick from Ace seeds- I seem to remember you mentioning them- they have some other tempting ones.

I'll admit Weaselcracker, I've been walking around all evening salivating over the ACE catalog and asking myself why they shouldn't be the sole recipient of my next order. :laughtwo:

Noted: JH from Seni Seeds. CO was running GSC and loving it, so that one's been on my list of possibles.

Thanks for the input. You've helped push me towards ACE. :laughtwo: I have a 15 gallon pot that would make a nice spot for a pure Sativa. I need more light.

Aziz, Light!

I need more light.

Maybe invest the money in another light before re-stocking your seed stash. Can't fire the bullets if you ain't got the guns.

Besides, I thought you were gonna try some cloning this go round? Pick a couple strains you like, clone them, learn to grow them well, and make edibles with the heaps of weed you'll have lying around from all the killer harvests. Just my $.02. I'd donate more, but I just bought a Mars Hydro II 700w with the last of my disposable income. #growerproblems

Before the end of the month I may be able to do both MysterySeeds, but it's just being distracted by the shiny, and I know that. :laughtwo: The seed order is paramount. I have a good supply of seeds on hand to play with, but there are a few I want to pick up and ACE has such a beautiful selection. Eventually though, I really think some better light balance will be called for on the main floor to be able to get another big pot in there. For now I need to run with what I have and see what they're capable of doing. Let me run a complete cycle and then make adjustments, if in fact they're needed at all.

...just being distracted by the shiny, and I know that. :laughtwo:

Like a raccoon leading a raccoon. Remember that I currently have a Papaya #1 and #2, a Maui, a Mystery Seed, a Bubblelicious Auto seed, a handful of quality bagseed, and whatever clones I can pick up from my friend tomorrow, which could be 1-4 more strains... and I'm contemplating buying Charlotte's Web seeds... and I'm only growing in a 2'x2' tent and a tiny cabinet.:loopy:

 And on that happy note this girl will now drag her butt to bed. Goodnight

Daily Update Perpetual Tent - Week 10, Day 4

It's a beautiful, mostly cloudy day here in my slice of paradise, as I sit on the veranda of my favorite restaurant, fortified by a decent breakfast (I finally convinced myself to eliminate the fried potatoes, so healthier) and enjoying the view of the river slipping by as I do the update. Life is sweet indeed. :cheesygrinsmiley:

First thing I checked this morning was environmental monitoring.

There we are! Much better, eh Duggan?

We have four babies breaking the surface.

The eager Afghanis all popped up overnight.

#1, already in Day 2. WooHoo!

#2 & #3 showed their sweet selves this morning.

In the tent, in Kit soil, Auto Jack Herer is just now raising up from the soil solution.

I gently spritzed all the cups.

Let's take a cursory look at our other inhabitants. I have things to do today. First up after posting this is do something about getting the scratched glasses replaced. No time to dawdle. I'll catch up later.

African Buzz (Day 63) Vigorously pushing out new pistils. Keep going Baby. Ooooo, I'm looking forward to sampling this one. :slide:

image28491.jpg

Auto Destroyer (Day 64) Looking a bit peaked here, don't you think? I have some DeStress in the fridge, so I took it out and let it warm up a bit closer to room temperature and gave her a light spray. Let's see if that helps. This one is running to harvest too now. The new cycle, I get this timing thing down better.

image28492.jpg

Auto Jock Horror x Auto Amnesia (Day 62) I've done a small sampling of her two days in a row now (tried another tinier-than- popcorn bit this morning) and she's coming down tomorrow morning, bright and early. (Note to self: Lemon Juice!!!) She's not pushing out more than A few new pistils, the red hairs are all pulling in and I have run out of stash. Time to harvest one, and this little darling has been elected to be the sacrificial lamb. I was planning on topping her and letting the lower portion go a couple more days, but looking at her today, it's time. She's screaming at me now.

image28494.jpg

Cheese Candy (Day 64) Pistil change is beginning to accelerate. I gave her a drench of Coconut water, Aloe Vera juice and a drop of Agsil. I also topped off her reservoir. She's coming along nicely. I have no complaints at all.

That's it for today guys. Everything holding steady, except for that droopy Auto Destroyer. Now off to see about saving my eyesight and do a bit of shopping. I need to buy smaller clothes. :yahoo: I love Callanetics. :cheesygrinsmiley: A former coworker was totally blown away at how much younger I look than just last week. *giggle* What woman doesn't like to hear that from an honest friend? That deserves something clingy. :laughtwo:

Have a wonderful day everyone. Enjoy the beauty of the day where you are and spread that joy around with utter abandon, OK? OK then. :battingeyelashes:

:Namaste:

wish I could talk live to you have so many questions that would be easier if live lol

PM me Bear. I'll do my best to keep up with them in real time. Ask away bud. :cheesygrinsmiley:

A new generation is born. :bravo:

just tried bud washing for the first time on 2 plants i was given last night as a present and OMG cant believe what I used to smoke along with my bud:jawdropper:

Now that you know Bear, I'm going to assume you're a convert.

Drat! Forgot the lemon juice! I'll need to go back out later and purchase that. Why it that so hard for me to remember? I do this every harvest.

Another arrival. In LOS, Strawberry Blue.

Finally caught up. Good god you are a busy one. I'm super stoked that you are getting to that perpetual motion. It is the worst being without. For me I can't purchase MMJ weed. It's just not good enough. It's a catch 22 kinda situation. When I have none I want it but only on my terms... and it's really hard to find organic, insecticide/pesticide free quality smoke. What's advertise in MMJ outlets in Washington rarely is what its advertised as. I've first hand witnessed dispensary owners changing strain names claiming some were organic when grown through synthetic non organic nutrients... it's just no good. That's why what we're doing is awesome because we're a small collective who know what real good weed is :)

We're the "Elite Cannabis Obsessed". :laughtwo: Spoiled and proud of it. I asked the daughter if she wanted me to take some of my mad money and find some so I can make her bedtime brownies and she turned it down in deference to what Mom can grow. Love that girl. Her mother raised her right. :cheesygrinsmiley:
