Daily Update Perpetual Tent - Week 10, Day 4
It's a beautiful, mostly cloudy day here in my slice of paradise, as I sit on the veranda of my favorite restaurant, fortified by a decent breakfast (I finally convinced myself to eliminate the fried potatoes, so healthier) and enjoying the view of the river slipping by as I do the update. Life is sweet indeed.
First thing I checked this morning was environmental monitoring.
There we are! Much better, eh Duggan?
We have four babies breaking the surface.
The eager Afghanis all popped up overnight.
#1, already in Day 2. WooHoo!
#2 & #3 showed their sweet selves this morning.
In the tent, in Kit soil, Auto Jack Herer is just now raising up from the soil solution.
I gently spritzed all the cups.
Let's take a cursory look at our other inhabitants. I have things to do today. First up after posting this is do something about getting the scratched glasses replaced. No time to dawdle. I'll catch up later.
African Buzz (Day 63) Vigorously pushing out new pistils. Keep going Baby. Ooooo, I'm looking forward to sampling this one.
Auto Destroyer (Day 64) Looking a bit peaked here, don't you think? I have some DeStress in the fridge, so I took it out and let it warm up a bit closer to room temperature and gave her a light spray. Let's see if that helps. This one is running to harvest too now. The new cycle, I get this timing thing down better.
Auto Jock Horror x Auto Amnesia (Day 62) I've done a small sampling of her two days in a row now (tried another tinier-than- popcorn bit this morning) and she's coming down tomorrow morning, bright and early. (Note to self: Lemon Juice!!!) She's not pushing out more than A few new pistils, the red hairs are all pulling in and I have run out of stash. Time to harvest one, and this little darling has been elected to be the sacrificial lamb. I was planning on topping her and letting the lower portion go a couple more days, but looking at her today, it's time. She's screaming at me now.
Cheese Candy (Day 64) Pistil change is beginning to accelerate. I gave her a drench of Coconut water, Aloe Vera juice and a drop of Agsil. I also topped off her reservoir. She's coming along nicely. I have no complaints at all.
That's it for today guys. Everything holding steady, except for that droopy Auto Destroyer. Now off to see about saving my eyesight and do a bit of shopping. I need to buy smaller clothes.
I love Callanetics.
A former coworker was totally blown away at how much younger I look than just last week. *giggle* What woman doesn't like to hear that from an honest friend? That deserves something clingy.
Have a wonderful day everyone. Enjoy the beauty of the day where you are and spread that joy around with utter abandon, OK? OK then.
