The Hempire Strikes Back!

I'm a fan of the aliens that arrive in that plastic tub/spaceship.... just sayin. Just send 'em my way.... I'm point them at our leader.... his name is 'Bic'.

Haha im a fan of those aliens as well my friend! Many of their prior kin have met the Mighty Leader Bic lol.

The colours man WOW!!! I m so envious of you, nicely done:);)

Thanks brother! I been digging the colors of the huckleberry alot its interesting for sure! :tokin:

Gotta give you +Reps for the plant porn. Well done lexort. Beautiful girls. :bravo:

Lex thanks for the budporn warning my dude, luckily i came prepared lol. Nice trim job. Plants look great by the way.

I figured a warning was called for this time lol. It was a lot of bud pictures all at once lol that can be overwhelming lol. :tokin:

I am loving the state of your garden brother. +reps!

ShiggityFlip! Good to see ya brother! I totally been a slacker on this site and i gotta stop that and get caught up fully lol. :tokin:

Howdy there Sweet Sue! I wish smell-o-vision was a thing cause these two strains smell great and i wish i could share that with you all! Its always a pleasure when you grace my journal with your peaceful vibes! :tokin:

Alright well sadly I neglected to take more pictures before smoking on the huckleberry so I only have two pictures. It was pretty good, it was a mellow uplifting smoke relaxing but not necessarily sedating.

Nice trim job Lex. Tastey looking buds. You gonna keep the HB going for a while or try another strain out?

Thanks brother! Ya I actually just took some cuttings from both the huckleberry and the SD, ideally I would like to get a White Widow going soon but we shall see if I end up with the time, I don't want to overwhelm myself lol

Wow! You take a lot more care with your trimming than I do lexort, but then most of my harvest gets turned into an infused oil and that can be done with more plant material to get a stronger cannabinoid presence, since every inch of the plant has trichomes, most only one cell high.

Looks tasty lex. :battingeyelashes:

I'm starting to feel that I'm pushing the 2L format too hard.... trying to grow plants too big for such small footwear.
I harvested a PC the other day that had little hairy feeder roots coming up thru the top of the perlite kind of forming a layer of brown dead hair on top of the perlite.
For the moment, I'll not grow the PCs so huge before I flower them. In the future, they may require larger footwear. I think the sativa dominant strains as a whole have larger root zone requirements.... the indica dominant strains don't seem to require as much root space as the sativas.

I still have the trash cans I was planning to use when I started, and the perlite I intended to use in it. Think I'll calculate a rough guess on the Osmo Plus requirements and transplant my Carnival into one.

Thanks Sweet Sue! That is actually just the wet trim I usually trim what I miss before finally jarring em up lol. Ya I don't blame you, if I was making qwiso hash or edibles I wouldn't be so concerned about trimming. Is there any other cannabinoids in the trichomes without the ball on top? I've been wondering since I've noticed a lot of those on the sugar leaf and such.

Ya I could buy that logic. 2Ls are a fine line to walk, I usually don't like to veg clones for longer then a month in 2Ls before flowering them cause if I veg longer they look way rougher towards harvest. Those budcicles I grow usually get a week or two to stabilize and show growth before I chuck em in the flowering box. In your case I think your on the right track with those PVC hempys. You gotta keep in mind I use 2Ls due to lack of space if you afford the space I would say those PVC hempy seem to be the right call.

Some of the most valuable medicine is in the oils found in the sugar leaves lexort. If you look closely with a loupe, you'll see they typically run all the way out to the tip on the underside of the sugar leaves. I trim only the tip of most sugar leaves, if at all.

The trichomes that are only one cell high and the ones like hairs without caps all have oil in them. This is the function of trichomes, to store the plant's essential oils.
