Hey check it out! I found this on the zon, but it's 4 bills, ouch!

The Rosineer RNR MVR. Not sure if any of the sponsors sell something like this, it may be worth looking into though.

No. Not one sponsor sells a press. And the trouble is, that a real one is expensive since it involves hydraulics & precise heating. And probably none of them have UA or CSA approval so buyer beware. I know some guys have the Harbor Freight press & have fabbed their own heated plates.

Hashish my son?
Its been two years or so since I made my Dry Ice hash and cold water hash. The water hash with the most duff is the best (it had a small hole in the wash bag by the zipper) imagine that. 170 was the smallest I went with. Im not sure if its the process or the weed that made it better. All I know is its very stony and lasts forever, all of it.
Ive got more weed to hash very soon.

I squeeze the 2nd run. I run/wash it 3 times.

Also i grind up my frozen weed before wash with my hands. I try to crumble all the buds before wash, good idea??

.No need. The temperature, combined with the agitation of the ice, breaks the glands off of the leaves. By grinding etc. you're just adding chlorophyll to the water you'll have to work to rinse out later, with the possibility that it won't all rinse out.


I accomplished a wonderful mile stone, the collective bought my weed!!! 2lbs for a grand, ouch I know but fuck I did it!!! Im so proud!!!

Those two pounds had the bud rot picked out 3 times before he took it and some got my first and last wash on the big main buds that had bsoda residue.

They pay half of what they sell it for and thats my next goal.

I've got a set of bags coming in the mail, got my buckets, got a paint stirrer... I skipped the machine this time around, a little too much up-front investment for now and I wanna get a feel for doing it by hand. I've only been watching people doing it by hand for 15 years and waiting my turn to try, and hell there's gotta be a little room left for artistry right?

Anyway I'm just excited to be getting actual hash. Kind of tired of isowash and bho. I have made some really good isowash, but I just don't enjoy working with it, the safety precautions needed, and then always feeling like I'm inhaling unpurged solvents. But besides all that I just always wanted to smoke hash, I'm not really a big "dab" guy, and I remember when "hash oil" got real popular I got excited thinking, "OH man I'm finally gonna be able to get hash regularly," instead of the just-every-once-in-a-while-when-some-old-head-had-some kind of thing. I dunno, I remember way before "dabs" and "shatter", we were knife hitting bubblehash and we liked it damn it!

But uhh... Here's some pics of my isowash for listening to me ramble. I want my bags to get here already. Will be using the same material I used for this, Blackberry Kush trim.

Got my bubble made :D Just LOVE the taste of it. I don't think it's quite full-melt because I can't quite manage to dab it, but it's still really good stuff.

Well, does that mean I should stop listening to bubbleman about his hash being full melt and dabbable? I kinda figured that guy was a little hyped... But yeah I mean I don't want to draw the conclusion it can't be done off my first run, but this stuff came out pretty dang clean. I checked it in my 120x scope and both the 45 and 73 are basically all trichome heads with perhaps one or two particles of contaminate visible in the field of view at one time. I've had oil with more particulate in it than that, so I feel like it's just the consistency of it that makes it not dabbale so much as the purity?

Well, it's all academic anyway... I don't really like to dab. Kills my lungs. Gonna be burning this stuff.

I don't know who bubbleman is, but judging from how he refers to himself I would take his statements with a grain of salt :)

You got me thinking about what full melt really means, not a scientific term, I always thought hash wasn't because of the plant material in it. So I only thought of rosin, wax etc as being full melt, maybe I need to alter my perception since some hash does almost totally melt ;)
Guess it's an American term, we don't really use it in the old world and certainly not when talking about import hash.

Sieved it after drying it on a pressing screen a little.

PurpleGunRack, I always assumed it just meant it evaporated in such a way it left no, or very little residue. Mine wasn't quite able to do that, it just kinda smoldered when I tried dabbing. Maybe it wasn't dry enough yet, no idea, but with it being so pure I expected it to dab okay especially after watching it melt under flame.

Pressed it all today, it's a lot more manageable compressed. I'm not sure we even got a full 10 grams, though. Hard to tell with how much was smoked before it got pressed and weighed. I think the 45 micron presses the best.
