I started this #potinboots challenge. Starting May 4 ending October 15.
Edit* it will be Northern Lights x Big Bud Auto. Seed dropping Friday.
Challenge is to fill an old boot with soil and plant an autoflower. That’s going to be my double duty plant, grown outdoor, saluting bonsai . #bonsaiboot

Especially with my big ass rubber winter boots lol, should be at least two or 3 gallons of soil. Put a little supersoil mix in the toe lol
I will drive around with it if I need to. Mobile bootweed.

It’s open until then, so folks can join in anytime this summer, the October end date will coincide with the first anniversary of legalization. Mine will be lucky to survive my boot lol
I have some gum boots i don’t wear anymore and this sounds delightfully silly 
Would there be any problems with drainage... or lack of it? Or do you plan to poke some holes in them?

Mine are a bit leaky, which is why I will use them, and I am going to drill a hole or two for drainage.
The silliness is really the entire goal of it lol.
Edit* I am donating a boot and a seed to a family member for them to grow. I have a few other buddies doing it with me. #bootweed and #potinboots will be a thing lol. Also, looking at fun grow names like “potinbootylicious” but. I’m goofy and high like that.

Oohh yeah... I may have found a spot to stick a couple outdoor plants where they will be under a watchful eye. Should be fun for him and let me get some of these plants out of here.

I dropped a Brooklyn Mango seed last night, an Ed Rosenthal cross, 50/50 hybrid. I’m thinkin 10 gallon geo pot so i can be more like Shed...
I put those other three in the ground, and they get mostly shade, fingers crossed they look good so far.

I dropped a couple more seeds as well. Another CBD Lemon Potion Auto and an LSD 25 Auto. Will put them in 7 gal fiber pots. Wife looked at me a little sideways, but so far I haven't been banished to the couch so "fingers crossed".

A friend of mine has decided that L.A.'s new weather is April clouds, May grey, June gloom, and then HOT HOT HOT for the summer. Not great for outside growing all spring though
