The Great Outdoor Group Grow: Beastly Buds To Honor Bonsai

Lift off:

I germ’d 4 Tree of Life seeds to kick up the odds of getting a female plant-they’re all reg seeds.

Also germ’d a lemon diesel bagseed that I’d forgotten—if it’s a male, I might just use it to cross for seeds—it’s one of my fave strains.

They’ll go into the garden in about a week.

All the seeds were free to me, too. I'm fond of growing on the cheap & even fonder of eschewing retail anything whenever I can. So I'm off to a start consistent with my inclinations.

Grow on!

I see a lot of growers going with the green container of Myke

I use orange myself !

But hey I noticed myself this year that I went to stick a shovel in the holes from my last years holes and wow the simplicity and ease to flop the loose fluffy hole that had sat there all winter ?

Really cool !

Miss growing so much !

Best of luck this summer .

That is pretty cool that you noticed a difference in the soil! Must be lots of good stuff happening in the ground.

I haven't seen the orange Myke. I bought the green container as it has the kind of microbes that are supposed to be good for certain types of crops, including cannabis. I have some "Great White" myco coming when a friend from the USA visits later in May. People rave about it being awesome for roots, so I am excited to try it as well.

Thanks for the good luck wishes.

Still chugging along here.. furthest ive taken a plant since living here.. may, wow.. been two little bits of rot I've found, nothing server, outside edge.. I'm looking hard over her each morning and am still surprised at how well that pergola top works, especially for dew but rain also.. couple flower shots...

Yup great white my mentor here mag uses it

Girls are still indoors, but got up-potted today. I am pretty happy with those roots! Cold and rainy outside again today, but at least the ground prep I did yesterday will get some water to help the process along.

More details in my journal if anyone would like to stop by.

Good night to all!

Hey! Tree of Life! I know that strain! Great smoke!
Good to hear. It's one I've never tried or grown before. It's an old OR med. strain, cross of Trainwreck & Mendo Purps. Got it from Cannabeizein. Have grown a coupla their other strains & they've been great!

Grow on!

And then there was none.. well almost..

Hit hard with rain last night.. plant was dripping wet.. nice day dried her out as a mate was harvesting her for me (bloody work).. forecast is for more crap tonight and continuing... she's ready, I was just seeing how far weather would let me take her.. got 2/3 of a milk crate of small fluffy flowers, plus what's left on plant and four bags in freezer from early harvest off her, should make some nice hash.. these flowers do have a fair amount of resin, so hopefully get nice amount of it... fans will be removed.. should I tell him off? And look through the compost bag?

Drying room stinks... little too full on but live by myself, so no one to nag at me about it

Mate did well, cutting points and fans off for me and making the branches smaller/easier to hang.. on top of the frame is what I took off couple week ago, also three ounce been curing in jars for week.. most of the earlier stuff will also be made into hash... photos don't really make out the amount of flowers there are here.. my mate had never seen anything like it, had his jaw dropping, made me feel good but also good to see excitement and hope in his eyes..

:bravo: well done taking it so late in the season. We’ve overnight RH in the 80s and 90s the last while even though the days have been dry. I dont have the heart to grow this late :laughtwo: Must be a good rot resistant strain. Nice big lot of great looking buds you have there!

Yeah really resistant... none found today.. thought may have been some but zilch (3 tiny bits all up)
I gave my mate a heap of seeds to play with this year.as he was harvesting he realised I'd got more off this one plant than he'd gotten off of all his 12.. I was scared to show him the early harvest off her, lol..another thing he was pissed about, He had to harvest his over month ago because was pulling buds off everyday that had rotted out.. he lives across the road from me :rofl:

Thanks man..
He had another bag where all fans and points went into.

Super work & congrats on the harvest! What strain was it?

Grow on!

Got something thrown together. Not sure when im gonna change it up, but aint that the dance... My Bug Guy came by yesterday and dropped some rat traps for me I gave him a harvest sampler and he went on his merry way. Still not sure what the past star I sprayed the plants again with Nuke’em, I noticed the peyote critical’s, which I sprayed when I got home from San Diego, weren’t attacked as hard as the northern lights which was not sprayed. And I think the peyote critical’s are going in to flower because of a light schedule change hopefully they’ll reveg for me. Note my weather for early May. Today this is working...
