Durban Poison - Day 22.

Everyone has settled in nicely. Green is returning and the overall wetness of the pots are coming around perfectly. They got a light misting today and will get fish again tomorrow. All 4 are topped above the 3rd node now. The manifolding process begins.

We have the entire family coming to our place for Christmas this year so I won't be around much until about the 29th.

Family starts rolling in tomorrow, so if I don't respond right away, thats what's going on.

The girls look good, especially the first close up it looks very symmetrical. Those crates around the grow bag are a damn good idea,not only would it preserve the roots n all that from disturbance but it would get air to bottom of bag,could tie branching to it and could really help in my flower room to keep it orderly!!! Great idea

The girls look good, especially the first close up it looks very symmetrical. Those crates around the grow bag are a damn good idea,not only would it preserve the roots n all that from disturbance but it would get air to bottom of bag,could tie branching to it and could really help in my flower room to keep it orderly!!! Great idea

Those milk crates have treated me well over the years. It makes moving a 50 pound plant doable.

It also works good when you grow strains that are different heights. The crates stack so it's much more secure than using boxes to boost shorter plants, and with a flood tray on the floor to catch runoff I can water to runoff without a mess.

Costco sells them for $3/each. I cut a bunch down to 3" tall on my table saw so I can raise them in 3", 6",or 9" increments to level the canopy out.

My wife custom made me some 10gal cloth pots to fit, and Vivosun 7gal cube pots drop right in as well, so I use 10gals when growing from seed, like the pictures above, and the 7gal cubes get used for flowering clones.

You can see the 3" ones on the bottom. They ensure 360 degree air flow as well as keep the bottom of the pot up out of the flood tray.
