Thanks for the comps my brother. i got mostly sativa dom strains. Love them sativas. I know you do too. The goldmine buds were pretty easy to trim up. Very good calyx to leaf ratio i guess. :smokin: Have a good weekend man

So much happening in the flower shower!! Holy shit man that OG Kush is one of the most beautiful plants I've ever seen! +reps for your training my friend!!

That doctor pepper can is so cool! Perfect stash spot, especially if you had to have it in the car ;)

That goldmine porn is something else.. make sure you enter that in Nug of the month.. had me proper drooling

Thanks wrecked, i feel blessed by the God of weed. Im excited about the Tut too man. My plan on these new seeds is to grow them in the wild outdoors. I want to start them around the first of march and let them veg for 6 to 8 weeks. Then put them outside in may. Im thinking bout putting two plants of each strain in different places. Im going to use the same method that glimmergrass is using and spray one budsite of each strain with colloidal silver to get feminized pollen. Then im going to pollinate a branch or two of every plant. By the end of the summer i will hopefully have a nice pile of fem Tut, fem GTH, And all the rest. This is a best case scenario but i can dream right lol.

Here is some of the feminized seeds from the recently harvested Huckleberry. Some buds have multiple seeds, some buds have no seeds. I think ill end up with around 100 good seeds. I am happy with the pollination experiment. It might be a challenge to create feminized seeds in the wild outdoors being that they have to be sprayed daily for the first 10-14 days of flower.

I just wanted to share this new germination method im trying. Its from another grower on the site named Cultivator. He is a very experienced grower and he knows what he is doing. Ive killed a train wreck, 2 purple pain killers, 2 mendo purps and a couple ace seeds in the last month alone. I think this germ method is the best ive seen.

I started 4 seeds a few days ago that were gifted to me called Zulu Skunk. I used Cultivators method of germination and allthe seeds are doing great. No more waiting for them to come up out of the dirt woohoo.

I got this little humidity dome with 12 jiffy pellets included for 3$ at Lowes. I followed cultivators instructions. I ordered some Great White mycorrhizae for the roots. Im doing my best not to be killing anymore 12$ seeds in the future. If anyone else has my same issues this technique might come in handy.

What methods have you tried before?
Hey lex, i was putting them into the dirt once the root was near 1/4" long, but im not having great success that way. Cultivator says he gets 99% success with this method and i believe him.

Haven't had a chance to watch the vidro yet but will probably tonight. I never liked planting directly in the dirt either never had good success that way. What i do is get a paper towl wet with warm water and wring it out the best i can, then i put the seeds on the paper towel then fold it over and stick that in a zip lock bag then i put the bag somewhere warm but not bright, check them in a few days if i see taproots that have come out decent i then plant them in the jiffy pellets and then wait or plant it which ever the situation calls for lol. That's the way I have had best success popping seeds. Sorry for the ramble im high as hell and just hoping im still coherent enough to be understood lol.

Thats basically the way i do it too lex exept ive been going from paper towel to dirt. I have used jiffy pellets and rockwool cubes before also. You will see the differnce once you watch this short video. Basically you still use the paper towel method but just let the tap root get a little longer and then just stick the root into the jiffy pellet leaving the seed exposed. You will see. So far Im 4 out of 4.

I just found two seeds in a bud from the Goldmine!! I pollinated one branch so im not totally suprized but ya never know. They are Goldmine X Huckleberry. Should be some good stuff. Ill have to plant a few this summer just for curiosity. Seeds get me excited lol. I dont know what im going to name it. :passitleft:

I just want to give a quick buzz report on the goldmine sample bud I took 10 days ago. I had such a dry mouth that i literally could not talk for 30 minutes. It was like my lips and tongue were stuck together by some unknown force. My wife was thinkin I had a stroke. :cheesygrinsmiley: Im calling it the, "stroke mouth" phenomenon :passitleft:

:passitleft:You know it brotha

I can't wait to hear what you settle on when you name your cross. I've always wanted to name a strain. I used to think I'd make a good lipstick color namer. That alone should qualify me to get a job naming cannabis strains, don't you think? Where do I sign up? :cheesygrinsmiley:
hell yes you qualify Apple :cheesygrinsmiley: if you can name a lipstick then you can name a plant lol. Im open for suggestions? When the right name hits ill know. :passitleft::laugh: Pass it back to mazin when your done please.
