The Emerald City

SweetSue so wants to pick your brain on photography! Beautiful pics.

Nice cuttings. If those domes don't mist from the heat and the evaporating water, lift the domes and exhale in them and put them back down. It would be easier if you didn't hermetically seal them though ;).

Nice use of a frisbee...too cold to throw it around. They crack in the chill. I know this for a fact!
Woke up grouchy, thought i was gonna have to move this one inside, with this great sunny weather. You know Shed im gonna start rotating the girls outside as I feed them. No brainer right? Thanks for your help and advice.
:high-five:

@SweetSue ask me your questions, I'm happy to help a 'Budding Photographer."

I just read Beez cloning tutorial, time to go break the seal. And my time frame for clones in the two liter is quite similar, but I was getting close to 100% in a week. I'm ok with the new time frame though, gives me an excuse to make a nice little cloning station.

Before my knee surgery, me and Wavy Dave would wake n bake 3-4 days a week and throw. Even and 5:45 am when it's 40 out. Disk Craft, Ultra-Star 175 gram, Thumber Scoober, flick, back hand, hammer, go fix the music man...

When do they stop being seedlings, 1 week?

Flower Girls

Ladies in waiting

Lopsided, I'm letting the center shoots grow out for clones.

And some for @Amy Gardner, these ones are on the cool side.

One more.

TWA

full

Nice catchup - everything looking great Age

And hey, sticky (@ilikemsticky) I have an entry level Nikon macro lens (the call them micro - whatever) and it’s pretty good. It may work with your model. It’s the AF-S Micro NIKKOR 40mm. It was less than $200 Australian (I think - it was a gift so I’m not positive, but I’m pretty sure)

:passitleft:

Nice and watm out here in so cal. Cool picturez no problem, just change the filter.

Took my GSD’s for a walk, T-shirt and shorts today, so nice that days are getting longer.

That quick chill coming from the north and frosting up on my TWA.

Forgot to mention, when i was doing the cool pics i noticed the pot was light. 1 week to go, 1/8 tsp each; floralish, florablend & floranectar to a half gallon. Bam!!!!

hi amy that sounds like something that would work ill have to research a little what were you wanting to do with it?:)

Been noticing some nice goodies showing up for some of the peeps who volunteered for the Photojournalist gig. Guess I missed out. Like I haven't gotten enough stuff from 420 already.

Clone update: One died and One is living with roots, from the two I made originally. I was actually throwing them away and she had some hairs forming up so I kept her. Less than a week and the root hairs are white and healthy. I'll wait till the soil dries a bit more and give the same mix I'm giving the Ultra Lemon Haze Baby.

Hardy plants indeed, the Berry Bomb! And their momma, is outside with her second trans feed of the last week or so.

The other 8 clones are cruisin along, I've been venting them during the day and covering them at night. About 10-12 hours at a time as they develop roots.

Stay Baked!

I mentioned it because you were asking about a macro lens for your camera.

It’s actually very versatile and takes great portraits as well as being decent for landscape as well. Mostly I use it for plant macros and portraits and some insect/spider photography as well.

I have to check back on that thread. I pitched, but I can’t manage to do daily updates so I think that rules me out.
What developments have there been?

On another tangent - do you use physical lens filters very much or at all Age?
:Namaste:
