The Emerald City

The new year has brought me new things and getting me back on the ladder as well. I just finished painting and installing the base board in the master suite of my home replaced a ceiling fan too. New Doors on order from Lowes as Home Depot sucks balls and lies about what they can do. I quote the rep from Home Depot, "Anything coming out of Canada is unreliable." As a Canadian myself I took offense to what she was saying, I even repeated it back to her to confirm what she said. I guess the HD policy is to throw their vendors and that country of origin under the bus...

On to better things, my room is looking great and needing some touch up but I'm pleased with what I was able to do in just a couple of weeks. I won't bore you with dull pics of my accented walls, and well placed base board, but rest assured if you're looking to start your day different, a junior mint and a rejuvenated room to wake up in, is a nice start .

You're Canadian? Recalculating...

Make sure you convert to Metric, I'm sure that's why it took so long for the doors not to arrive. Ordered September 13, 2019, canceled and money back 1-12-2020.

Let me tell you about Don Odell at the Home Depot in La Quinta, CA; located at the corner of Washington and 111. Whenever he called me his opening was, Hi Agemon, this is Don Odell from the La Quinta Home Depot, I drew the short straw and get to be the one who calls you. I wanted to let you know that your doors won't be ready for a few more weeks..."

His opener needs work, he's not funny, and every time he told me a date it was always pushed back another month.

Great customer service, eh?

I was nice and I was patient and I was still nice and I was still patient. By the time we got to December I was done with both and it became a race between the credit card company & the depot. I got my money before I got my doors so I went LOWES. Great customer service and I heard from 4 different people within a week of setting my appointment to have measurements for the doors. Now I'm being patient and nice but I'll be calling every couple of weeks to make sure my order is being made.

But are they from the same Canadian supplier?

Good God!!!! I hope not!!!

SO...! That huge bush I had going, the CBD...? Well I pulled her from the tent yesterday for feed and she's got a gnarly infestation of Spider Mites. I decided to scrap it as well as the clones I had going. I've actually been teetering on whether or not I should continue to grow, even just smaller plants and harvests. I've got so much flower, hash, oil, & baked goods! I am so stoked and grateful to have a steady supply of herb and other 'weed related amenities!' I just rotated the weed supply (mason jars) and have been smoking weed that's been curing since April, 2019. Needless to say I've got about 36+ 1qt mason jars of cured buds just waiting to be enjoyed and with no customer base, to speak of, those jars will last quite a while.

I went for it when the laws changed here in Cali and I've done pretty well for a newbie grower trying to find his way. I remember my first harvest back when I was much younger. Some Blueberry from seeds that a friend of a friend kicked my way. That was some stoney bud for sure. Me and a coupla friends smoked the last of it on a fishing trip and passed out. The water level came up and washed away our cooler, we were cat fishing the Colorado River between CA and AZ near the Ox Bow Preserve. Anyhow, that measly harvest is always a memory for me, but what I've been able to do in the past couple of years has truly taught me what dedication can achieve.

Since the car accident, in October, my priorities have shifted, for better or worse, and I don't seem to have the same drive to achieve the famed '1lbs plant.' I have no doubt at this point that I can but honestly I don't have the space for all that weed. Just cause you can do it doesn't mean you should. You know what I am looking forward to? Being able to smell weed again and enjoying the fruits of my labors.

I have to say that I couldn't have done it without all the great people here at 'The Mag.'

Thank you to everyone who is and was a part of our 420 family.

Pics or it didn't happen you say?

I'll be around y'all, floating as always, and that outdoor season is right around the corner too. You can't keep a green thumb outta the garden...

Stay Baked!

Wow, I cant wait till my stash is that full.

One full season and harvest in the Greenhouse and you'll be all set. Prolly be like, "Damn I gotta harvest all these plants!!!" Stagger your plants and when you push to flower, trust me. Harvesting multiple 1/2 lbs plants at a time is a chore, stoned or otherwise...

Well thats bittersweet aint it. Full stash but no need to grow.

Yeah, definitely bittersweet. The coco coir was fun for a change but SO MUCH WORK! I going back to Happy Frog and going basic on the nutes as well. Prolly just switch back to the basic Flora Nova Gro & Bloom, mix in the CalMag, and at the end some Floralicious and Terpinator at the end.

I'm much sorrier that you had to toss the Candida than I am about your "hiatus" from growing! You sure do deserve a break and a step back after what you went through.

And if something sprouts next to your pool this spring, no one will say "I told you so!"

:circle-of-love:

Yeah, that's the real bittersweet. Especially considering the clone that Doc contributed. Fortunately I've got another seed, I think. Two of those ziplocks are filled with Candida and I've got an ounce in a jar too. Only been using the Candida for gellies, ounce to a cup is the ratio. Been taking 1 gelly Candida and 1 gelly BeBo (same ratio) at bedtime. Slide into sleep and wake up feeling ready for the brand new day!

Hay Agemon I am taking donations Lol

If you're close we can figure something else, but I'm not into breaking federal law,

anymore

They are gonna be "lookers" for sure! :thumb: Will they be indoor or outdoor?
