The Emerald City

I just thought of it this way, when I dropped the BeBo's off I hadn't done much pruning if any; I wanted y'all to take those plants and do what y'all do. That's what today was for me, begin shaping and see where we go from here.

You think I should lay them all down?

I was referring to the hard right angles on the main stems. That's how a plant grows when it tips over the plant adjusts to the light. I don't think that's what actually happened though...did it?
No that's just lst bondage, I always just tied them off away from the center. Although that one little Candida that Age added the coco on top of did grow sideways for a bit, that's why the roots were all popping out of the perlite too.

I fed the Gavin 5 today. All seeming to be doing well, happy with the progress and good lush new growth. Feeding every 2 - 3 days, every third feeding is gonna H2O++, and the other two a veg feed with 3tsp Cal Mag. They havent changed much, but im noticing the Unknown OG iis stinkin!!

I mentioned the light...? One of the electrical connectors broke so i ordered more and got my supplies together. These QB’s are easy to build and slim too.

I have seen a lot of videos of people planting in the pot or in the ground at a 45 degree angle that way the plant grows side ways Kinda like low stress training but with out have to tie them over It worked Great for them I planted the ones I did on a 45 and it seemed to help, I will plant my next run on a 45 too. You still have to tie the side branching down.

Not a bad idea for next year, thank you! I will be using this spot though, i got so lucky this year with the strain and the location. Who new Northern Lights is a warm weather strain....

Growing exposed and Jorge Cervantes both have a few videos where they plant on a 45 and got Hugh plants with tons of colas The keep the main stalk bent at that 45 as it grows forcing lots of side branching. I thought it was a Great idea I LOVE the Lights where did you get them ?

What's Up PC? Thanks for cruisin over man! :surf:

I got the Timber a couple years back, and the QB's last week. I didn't do a build post cause I already did one. Super easy to build, just follow the pictures not the words. Something lost in translation when if you get one of those chinese jobs!

That set up there is the... Cola Casa! I just made that up...!!!!

You know I stumbled onto that by accident? What I mean is when I planted them straight it was the wrong time of year and they started to flower. Fortunately only a coupla weeks and then the Spring Equinox and they revegged. I ended up using a rock at the base to lean the stalk into the light and from there each plant just launched. Definitely a lesson for next year and I'll be putting bushes in the ground not clones. I didn't lean the main stalk over though, I topped a couple few times at Pennies urging, "With outdoor plants top early and often." Man was he right! I should have topped more I had to prune that NL twice before stretch stopped.

BTW: JC has a great video on bud washing using H202 and 5 gallon containers.

More pics cause the sun is risin!

Disclaimer: Those are phone pics so look at them on your phone.

I will be planting in containers well really fabric smart pots I plan to plant on an angle and keep topping or FIming and continue LST on all the branches. I will also be growing in a Greenhouse next spring, I will probably start 2 or three seeds and take them to my buddies over the winter just to have something growing over the long winter. I am already excited for next spring I will probably pop a few seeds in March and transplant into 15 or 20gal. fabric pots middle or end of march, I can get them through the seedling stage while I wait for things to warm up next year, We may take a few clones of the ones I take to my buddies over the winter too for next spring

Thats a cool plan, sounds like steady growing and good yields. Im glad i found that spot. Hopefully the ficus roots arent taking all the space.

i may have enough shade in that spot to use your idea and tip the pots.

Another phone pic of 2 week old, Think Different.

MonsterCrops in the middle back. The NL’s are ready for take off!

Phone pics will do even on a computer. They're good enough that I think you should hit the leaves with castille soap spray so you don't lose them too early. Bite marks are accumulating (unless that's spray residue of something else).
