They're shit.
I thought I'd give a Canadian company a shot but they totally let me down. I went back to Amsterdam strains.
I did buy some outdoor autos from Canuck seeds though. I'll give them a try in June.

No problem, just order a 10 pack, most of them will test to low. I averaged 3 outta 10 that tested 100k. They are pretty cheap

Maplin are good for hobby electronics in the UK, there's a B100k pot here.

So speaking of today, i bought all the parts i need to buils my light !
I chose finaly
2 x Hlg-240h-c1750b
8 x Bxrc-35g10k0-d-73-se
8 x Clamp
8 x Reflector
2 x watt meter
8 x cpu heatsink (i'll post picture on the build)
1 x thermal paste
2 x linear potentiometer 10k

I might be missing few connection part and wire but nothing i can't buy at a near electronic shop !

I'll do a post on the build as soon as i receive all of my parts

What type of screw you use to fix chips to heat sink (i'll have to pierce and tap mine) i was thinking of m2 screw

Hay bud, i thought they were m2s as well but my heatsinks are m4.. Id just bring your sink with u to the hardware store..

Just tested my potentiometer and it's reading 94k ohm. Will it still work?

Edit: Also, am I correct in thinking that when the resistance across the potentiometer is high, the driver output current will be high and vice versa?

It will still work, but will limit total output of the driver.. You will want a 10k resistor in sieres with the pot as well...

Is the 10k to prevent the driver dropping to zero output at maximum dimming?

You may have a 6% loss.. Mabe..
And your right, the higher the resistance the more output..

I think it'll be worth trying to get a potentiometer closer to 100k, gonna take my multimeter to the electronics store this time! Thanks for the input.
