The DeVille's White Widow & Bubbleicious - 8 Plants Under 2x Mars Pro II 320

Yeah - I think it's typical for White Widow. I hope I caught it soon enough.

Deville if I was you have a chat with tom smith he's just finished a ww grow and done really good, that Magazine post is bollocks lol I'm new to growing and probably know more than them all thanks to this community and the will to sit at my phone all day reading, but just thought I'd let you know tom smiths ww are basically done so he'll be good to get advice off as his grows still fresh in his head .

Anyone remember I took some clones from the flowering plants? I threw away 2 of them, but I did keep one that rooted quite fast. Kept it because several of the people who have been following my journals have asked questions about re-vegging. Now I can show you how a re-vegged clone looks like after rooting and re-vegging for a few weeks. This is almost a month old now I believe.

The next thing that we're waiting for to happen now is for this plant to realize "Hey, I am cannabis. I need to grow correct leaves"

But so far it hasn't discovered it's true purpose with life. Still very confused. When it's no longer confused, it'll shoot out branches in all directions and grow like a bush. A re-vegg never grows like it's mother.

Re-vegged White Widow

They were in bloom for 26 days if I counted correct

So yesterday I snipped the tip of about 60% of the buds. Decided to try this "backbuilding" technique. According to the hypothesis, the buds will now fatten up and get a more "uniform" look and shape. Whatever. I do like the "fatten up" part. Never cared about bag appeal. They're for my consumption only anyway. But if this really fattens up the buds remains to see. I will compare the cut with the uncut at harvest day and see what the numbers say about that.

I decarbed the material I cut off the buds on 100 degrees celcius for about 45 minutes, then I smoked it and spent the rest of the evening flying. Now I remember why I used to love White Widow so much in the 90's Amsterdam. she makes you fly :)

morning dv thats pretty cool i want to try that at some point when it fits into my schedule i've seen some beautiful reveg plants on this site good luck with that one i will be watching and learning!

have a good one!

So I could not resist picking a few buds yesterday. Decarbed them and smoked just a little bit. What I have here is like a 70/30 mix of WW/Bubbleicious. Fuck me! It's good allright. wonderful! I get so fucking high, warm and fuzzy. And it's so damn pleasurable. I love you.

Anyway - Harvest is getting closer. This is starting to get potent :)

How close are you to harvest? My Bubblelicious is about 5 weeks in and man does she smell skunky! Clearly not the highly desired Indica pheno, oh well.

Ohioboy Deville tell me u the man. Can u give me a few pointers on autos pls. Got 6 on the go from a friend who planted way to many. How do they use nuts? Same as regular feminized plants? I would be appropriate it. Can dm me to if you prefer.
Thanks

I give em one half strength feed at day 10 only water with root enhancer until then. Then I feed full strength after that first half. And my schedule is feed feed water repeat. You wanna give them veg nutes until they look like there in full flower plus 2-3 weeks because you want as much growth as possible before they flower. Then switch to full strength nutes for flower

Good news! Upping the nutes to recommended dosages stopped the deficiency from developing any further. I can see the White Widows are only 2-3 weeks from being ready to harvest. Bubbleicious however - I doubt this strain will be ready after 8 weeks of bloom. Thinking more like 9-10 weeks with this strain. The good news is that I will have room for the auto's under the lights after I harvest the White Widows. What complicates the situation is the flush. That one is scheduled to begin in approx a week from now. That will give a 2 week flush for White Widow and a month flush for Bubbleicious. Normally I prefer to flush all strains for a month, but as White Widow clearly needs the nutes, I'll keep on feeding them until it's two weeks left until harvest day.

Anyway - Just some loose thoughts spinning in my mind

You'll not be able to flush your autos for more than a week I usually only do 3 days flush in the dark

Look at what I found in a pre-harvested White Widow bud. It's some the plant that has shown signs of light bleaching and nutrient deficiencies. I of course went into full panic mode and brought my scalpel to the grow-room to cut away any male parts from the plant(s)

The problem is.... I didn't find any. Not on that plant or any other plant. So I wonder wtf is going on here? The scientific mind is telling me there can not be seeds without pollen, so the pollen must have come from somewhere. Will go out and check again after a good night of sleep. Perhaps when my senses are more sharpened I'll find the source.

The stuff I smoked was extremely potent btw. I friggin love White Widow. It's a fantastic strain

I'm definitely new to growing, but while researching I read a few times that sativas and hybrids have a chance of producing seeds without pollenation. It's like a last ditch effort for reproduction.

Month long flush? That seems to be a long time to me. Is that normal for soil grows? I'm in pro mix hp and was thinking of around a week. It's my first time using this medium.

My bubblelicious is at 9 weeks now and I'm beginning to flush

You're probsably right. I just love to get it all flushed out. The end product burns much cleaner when I do.

If there was any nanners, I probably cut them away when doing the last big defoil. I cleaned up pretty good below the net. I thought the same as you, but according to Jorge Cervantes there can only be seed if there is male pollen. So somewhere along the road there must have been a nanner.

"Immaculate conception is for believers. Biology is real.

No matter how much a cannabis plant is "tricked" with stress, chemical or environmental, a grain of male pollen must pollinate a female ovule to produce a viable seed. The pollen can be produced many ways, but male pollen must appear and fertilize the embryo

Jorge Cervantes"

I wonder if it was light stress that caused it (It's the plant that got light-bleached) nanners or if it was stress due to low nutrient levels.

So here's what we'll do:

- Turn off all air-circulation including exhaust/intake/circulation fans
- Carefully cut the branches of White Widow #1 one by one and put them into a plastic bag
- Carry the plastic bag out of the grow-room
- Turn air-circulation back on and leave room
- Hang buds to dry and then cure them as any other buds
- Put the two autoflowering plants in the free spot. Not sure how though. Maybe they'll fit on top of the net?
