The DeVille's White Widow & Bubbleicious - 8 Plants Under 2x Mars Pro II 320

Sorry about the blur. Am kinda still on the first morning-coffee here. Really having a heavy morning. Anyway - If you look very closely you'll notice it has a "flower" and my guess is that within 5 days it will be black of mold unless I cut it away. Then around 3 days later the entire collection of clones will be infested and killed.

Then again - Cannabis never seem to surprise me. The above description is what happens if you try to root a rose without removing the flower first. That doesn't work well. Remove the flower before you try to root your rose however = brand new rose-bush.

But what about cannabis? Can it handle it? I would love some input as I don't want to risk my collection. I have a few days to make up my mind about this one, but no more.

Nice to hear from you FatNeil. Especially since you have experience with Bubbleicious and I don't. Hope you'll let me know if you see any signs of anything going to hell during my grow. Good to have a pair of experienced eyes on the team - indeed

When it comes to Bubbleicious - Picked it cause it's supposed to be very close to a bubblegum when it comes to genetics. It's also heavily indica dominated which is always a plus in my book.

Love your grow so far. On my 3rd grow with nirvana bubblelicious. Love that strain

Removed the flower from the clone and gave it a good misting of Rhizotonic.

I have another "clone by mistake" in there that's getting closer to 5 days now. Also that one without rooting gel or any fancy shit.
Most of the clones in there I have been following every procedure 100% to ensure survival of the genetics. Some clones are more important than others. The way I'm doing it now however is a little bit overkill I suspect so....

What I'm basically are doing with a few clones, is to test how little you can get away with doing really - Do you have to use rooting-powders or gels? Do you have to sterilize everything every time? Can you re-use perlite/vermiculite forever?

It took me a while to figure out how to clone, but when I finally got it right I got it really right. They're thriving so much now, but what is the main reason for this? Is it the climate? the vermiculite creating a ultrahigh RH? Do they really only need that mist to survive?

so basically want to see how little work I can get away with and still end up with rooted clones

I just use a rooting gel and put clones directly in coco. I've lost two of of my first batch, but none since. I do put them in a dome under t5, but that's it

The Bubbleicious are looking great. They're still growing slower than White Widow, but think I'll get an ok mength from the 3 plants I have from that strain. I took another clone from Bubbleicious yesterday, just to observe how the strain is handling the re-vegg process at the same time it needs to create new roots. Taking a bunch more clones than needed, at different stages of the grow. I want to learn the limits of what's possible

Hello DeVille how are the bubbleisiouse doing? have you settled in yet? regards

I received the Mars-Hydro tent. I unpacked it to check if all parts were there, and everything is looking superb. Mars-Hydro tents sure have a quality feel to them. Where other brands use plastic, Mars-Hydro are using real metal. I believe this tent is going to be a sturdy one.

Also sending a big thank you from our 3 cats to Mars-Hydro for the fantastic tunnel. It became their favorite box instantly so now we have 3 very happy kitties here.

Sorry for not updating as often as I should. The mobile phone got crushed in an accident, so I didn't take any new photos lately. I'm waiting for it to be repaired and returned to me. I do however have quite the amount of professional photography gear I could use, but I seem to always forget to drag that with me whenever I check on the plants. I will try to remember it today when I go to the main-room. You see - There's a lot of coolness going on in there and it sure as hell is time for another update

FINALLY AN UPDATE

It's been 11 days since last update. A lot of things have happened since then. I have received a new tent, put it together, the Jack Herer auto has started flowering, but not very developed yet. The two loveryders still hasn't begun showing signs of flowering.

But this update is not about any of that crap. This is about the Main-room and our ladies White Widow & Bubbleicious.
On the water/nutes front there is little to update about. They drank around 150 liters since last update and I will have to fill the tank again in a week or so. I'm wondering if I should use nutes or not next time. I like to have a month of only feeding them clean water. But they're only 17 days into flowering so we'll see how far we have come when that time is here.

It's very clear now that White Widow from Royal Queen is an aggressive strain. It is taking over the entire room. Even with scrog the canopy isn't as even as I would like it to be, but I simply have no more room to bend things. That's just the way it has to be when you combine strains in the same grow-space. Next time I run Bubbleicious I'll run it on it's own and give it all the time it needs - If it's as good as people tell me it is - that is.

White Widow taking over everything. Bubbleicious is all the way to the right well hidden among the widows

As it has been 17 days since the flip, there is of course things going on. According to my "calendar" we're six weeks from harvest and as far as I can see we're right on schedule. Even if Bubbleicious is a slow grower compared to White Widow, it sure is a beautiful plant. I have really high hopes for this strain. It's mostly indica and has both a high THC and CBD. Great medical plant for my chronic pain in other words and if it really is the same strain as Bubblegum, then I know it's good for real.

I'm really exited about everything going on these days. I have a new tent and a new journal for you good folks to follow if you wish to do so :) That journal is "The DeVille presents - A Mars-Hydro powerhouse - The perpetual grow" and I'm just waiting for the final elements to come together before I put my highest producing strains in it to put it to the test.

Over and out
DeVille

DeVille, I will be closely following your Bubblelicious. I've been looking for a strain with a decent amount of thc and cbd. The combination would be just what I need for my medical needs. Awesome grow you have there. I'm running 3 strains flowering at same time, so know what you are up against. There is no point for me to even try scrog, especially with staggered harvests. But that is what makes it interesting, right? Keep at it man! :thumb:

Building another grow-space. Made it's own journal here, but am still waiting for some of the gear

Great choice of lights! ;)
You are making another grow room or replacement?

Hey there deville

i scanned through the grow, lookin good

Just wanted to let you know Dutch Passion White Widow is my top strain.
My friend has kept her alive for 7 years now.

I'm not sure what kind of freak pheno freebie I got from DP but it is way different than any strain I have grown so far.
I ordered another 3 seeds and they were real good, but not the AAA+ the freebie was, and continues to be.

To me the high is so good and clean. It almost feels like I got a shot or took a pill to feel that way.

My freak grows real strange too. loooong stretch between nodes.

I hope you score a winner also

Sure hope I do :) When it comes to White Widow, it brings back so many memories from the 90's when I used to hang out in the coffee-shops in Netherlands. Must have been lucky because they all seem to be extremely vigorous at this point. They have a very impressive growth compared to their friend in the scrog, Bubbleicious. Slightly more worried about getting a good Bubbleicious for future growing. There is one of the 3 that's growing faster than the others, that's Bubbleicious #3 in my system. Grows considerably faster than it's sisters.

The thing is - To make sure you get a good one you should probably always plant a minimum of 8-10 plants. always been lucky so far and have received some fantastic genes.

You see - Bubbleicious is supposed to be my pain med

I'll happily tag along with your grow, but where is your journal?
