Anyone can post on this forum for the most part. I've built my own BP systems, most of em before Roseman had his tutorial posted. I DIDN'T DOCUMENT IT LIKE ROSEMAN. Roseman had the forethought to document the process. ROSEMAN TOOK THE TIME, EFFORT, PHOTOS, AND DESCRIBED IT AND EVERYTHING ELSE, AND POSTED IT. SHOULD GET LIKE BONUS POSTS FOR ALL THE NICE DOCUMENTATION!!!!!! I am not saying Roseman took my ideas, but his tutorials are like no other, and my well my tutorials are um um in my head!!! Now as a forum member I have some great things to reference for myself and NOOBS. FryingPanFlyer just built a nice CFL light and documented very nicely. Got the idea from somewhere else but it wasn't documented like FPF (I didn't see it), so thanks for the detail FPF!!

Keep doing what you are doing Roseman! The site owners have to love the new volume of traffic Deep Water Culture bring as they get to sell more advertising. Can't hurt that Roseman got SH to be an advertiser.:peace::peace::peace:

It is your core values that draw people to you and want to help you. I found this site not because of you or any other individual it was my drive for knowledge about bud and cultivation. I scanned the whole site as well as many others and found a home here. It was mostly because of you and your tutorials. You have never posted a condescending word to anyone for anything. In fact you are the antithesis of that view point. :peace:
 
I would just like to say if it wasnt for you Roseman.. My closet would be empty, I wouldn't be on this site, and I would have never found what I love to do.. Which is GROW, its like a different world that is mine and I can escape to and nobody can interfere. If it weren't for you I wouldn't have found what I love to do and there wouldn't be that place I could escape to.

I've never met anyone who is more than willing to do what you have just for the sake of teaching other people what you have learned. The time it must have taken to post all these helpfull tutorials and your readyness to go the extra mile to help us when we are confused or desperate. You even called me on the phone to help me when I thought my last lady was on her death bed !! Thanks buddy. We all love ya Rosy!! :peace: :bong:
 
Are the bubble-bags for trim leaves or for fan leaves? Is this intead of or in addition to a kief box? So many toys....so little know-how (bought a vape & could not figure it out either).

I know I already asked this, but the room kinda went in another direction & I didn't get an answer.

Bubble bags are for trim. And if you want to use a kief box you would do it BEFORE using the bags, while it's still dry and frozen. Sorry I din't notice the question the first time around.

I'm not the expert here, but it's my understanding that the bubble bags are an alternate to a kief box. You're extracting the last of the trichs with both processes. they are to get the last of the trichs from your trim after harvest.

Okay, anyone know any good jokes?

Sorry, I am only on for a short while during the day. Swear i didn't skip over you!

Bags are for everything. Trim, fan leaves, anything you want. Fan leaves have less of what you are after, but they still work. Trim leaves can really get covered in trichomes, so you net more.

It is instead of a keif box. Keif box is a way to harvest trichomes. Ice extraction is simply another, more effecient way of doing that. Also results in a more pure concentration when done correctly.

Keif box takes frozen skuff (skuff is both trim and fan leaves. basically anything except buds). You shake the frozen skuff on a fine mesh screen. The trichomes are tiny, so they will break off due to being frozen ad brittle. They will drop through the mesh and start forming a soft sand like stuff below the screen. There will still be trichomes left on the skuff, so after rubbing for keif you can roll it up for low grade joints, or turn it into cannabis butter.

Water extraction is the same idea, but based on the fact trichomes are heavier then water. The rest of the plant is not. So, frozen trim in the mesh bags. you stir and agitate the water/skuff mix to break the frozen trichomes off. They will sink. You will have multiple bags, with different size mesh. The first bag will keep most plant matter out. Depending on how many bags, the quality and purity increases the more bags you have. The last bag or two, being on the bottom, nets you the most pure. You can harvest full melt hash here. It'll look like hash, but once it starts to burn, it melts into a more hash oil type substance. Super potent. But after you are done with water extraction, there isn't much left but plant matter. You will have harvested all the trichomes. (this is why I wouldn't suggest keif box then water extraction. You are harvesting the same thing, but making it twice the work. I use my keif box for extras. Stuff that didn't go in the wash, oil, or butter. Or when I am rolling a doob. I use it to collect any falling trichs.

You got it. So many toys! I got all kinds and I love it. I am about to do an ice run this weekend. If I can remember, I will take some pics and try and write up a small how-to for the Deep Water Culture. Hopefully we can get some more Deep Water Culture hash snobs! :grinjoint:


What kind of vape did you get? More then willing to help you get the use of it down. You'll really enjoy smoking from one. I know I do! Quite a few guys on here use them as well.

are the 68 new members here, that came with us in the Exodus, that I am aware of.

I added grownavy, and removed DocBud and SmokeyMacPot.. I don't know how DocBud and Smokey got on MC's list.


Did we miss anyone??? Are there any other immigrants or Deep Water Culture that we missed?
