The Candy Factory: A Maxsisun MG3000 3X Auto Run Of Fruit, Blueberry & Bubblegum - Using Prescription Blend Nutrients

Glad you're mostly okay, and I hope you feel better soon!
Thanks Mel I appreciate your good vibes!

Diagnosis:
Separated AC joint which is causing my bone to dig into my rotator cuff

Treatment:
2 direct steroid injections into the AC joint and Rotator Cuff, a heavy dose of new anti-inflammatories and another round of shots in a month. PT arm movements at home, nothing over my shoulder and about an 8 week recoup time

Thanks for the love guys sorry it's been a while on my littles, now 11D old. Color could be better but also worse lol

Small and accidentally hit with nute spray instead of the water spray I had out the other day but it's ok...

They are ready to move! Gonna rehome them somehow this weekend. Thats gonna be fun w this arm lol

Not to worry, now have a humidifier to help my arm and the girls. Was too hard to reach back there and obviously pain in your shoulder makes you illiterate to bottle labeling...

SALUTI TUTTI!

I think Indigo is telling you something.

@7Dust2 posted a great visual! I was about to do the same. Thanks 7Dust. Amazing freaking band by the way!!!

'82 that visual aid is a good general starting point for all our grows moving forward. They have a basic need for good growth and there is definitely a point of diminishing returns. Learning that is important!

I too was going to comment about trying to focus on your PPFD or lux more so than your distance and wattage. I think those are secondary. I focus on getting the ppfd coverage I want and then dial my light as low as I can (distance and wattage) to be as energy efficient as possible. ESPECIALLY with babies and vegging. It is a waste of energy to go higher and turning it up to ultimately get the same amount of light. I would HIGH-ly recommend trying the Photone app. There are also light meters you can use. I personally prefer the app and there are multiple reasons. Anyway, get used to reading for PPFD or the lux equivalent. It is a great skill set. Let me know if you need help getting it dialed in or how to use it should you decide to try it. Also, I could recommend looking at the manufacturers PPFD chart and trying to find your balance by using their chart. I was able to dial in and calibrate my meter using their data.
Lmao which visual was that usually I get to go to jail giving visuals.. ..lmao jK
But I do get in troubled .

Lmao we shouldn't tell you then!
So no surgery? That's got to be a relief!
As of now, no. I need to make sure I don't over exert and tear it so I have to slow down some but yes, very relieved!
Couple of shots and some at home PT and you'll be back to hoisting plants just as soon as it's about time to close up shop.
I actually had to have TK help me today. Needed to even the canopy again on the older girls....
At least you won't have to go under the knife, unless you are still looking for that to be the answer?
No, not at all. Much rather do my own PT and try to work it out myself for 8 weeks. I'll be upset if I do something stupid within that time and add on another 8 weeks so I have to be careful for sure

Had to at least let them say hey.. plus, like I said-had to do work in the flower tent anyway.
Hope your feeling better and on your way to a speedy recovery....
Thanks Caddie. My new script should be done soon, shots today helped make it much more manageable
Who don't need surgery. I missed something there.
Well you do fine we have faith in ya. Got faith for all of ya. Things will be better soon. For all of us.
It's all about balance friend. The good the bad the delightful and the ugly. I'll take it all...reminds you "I'm alive", you know?

Ain't it the truth . Pain makes you feel live. Feel that every day. Old bro just part getting old

So I needed to do something plant related when I couldn't sleep. So I decided to try to figure out the inconsistencies between the plants and namely why Blueberry and Fruit had been curly

I used my Photone app and scanned the entire canopy and low and behold, they were both in hot spots, showing about 25+ above the others. I fanagled the pots around so that everyone received equal light.

Overnight, Indigo (Bberry) and Mamba (Fruit) both showed signs of leaf improvement!

Just grabbed one of Indigo for now. I'll be transplanting them this weekend. Getting soil today.

Indigo yesterday

Good catch! Amazing what we can sort out with the right tools. :thumb:
I was surprised but then it all made sense!

Thank goodness for being directed in the right way from everyone here!

Transplanted all the girls yesterday afternoon and they all seem to be happy today!

20220204_082020.jpg

As I noted, there are hot spots with this light. Just have to work around them. Had to move the girls around after checking with my handy app AGAIN this morning and am using the aux light for Fruit and Blueberry now as they continue to adjust. The others had their light moved up and increased to better evenly distribute the light across the canopies.

Our friendly neighborhood stoner gnome and his baked turtle friend are keeping my ladies company

20220204_082032.jpg

We started seedling @Prescription Blend nutes today as all are showing seconds if not small thirds

20220204_082007.jpg

Blueberry, aka Indigo no longer has curly leaves after her light was adjusted several times now

20220204_082042.jpg

Here's how we mixed and set up for the transplants, adding some lovely amendments to the mix to help give my girls some extra loving-as is always done at this juncture

I use one of the unused starter pots and dig a little whole using the bottom of the pots and then sift and scrape that hole so it is not compact and nutrients and roots can move freely

20220203_165504~2.jpg

That's all for now. Took me like 1.5 hours and I made a mess spilling shit everywhere with my arm but we made it!

Happy grow um Friday?

I think they do :) thanks Moon, sore but manageable. Just have to stop when I need to. Not much to do with them today
Indigo's looking perky!
Glad you figured out what was going on.
Hope you're shoulder get better quick!
So weird, multiple hot spots but now that everyone is evened out, we are gonna sail through. Indigo just perked right up for sure! Thanks Mel :):)

Happy transplant day little ones! I hope they settle in quickly and start shooting up. So what's your average ppfd across the canopy right now? Utilize the alignment squares to make sure you're holding the phone flat. Or use a platform across your pots and put your phone on it so it doesn't move and stays parallel to the light. Then make sure you let it read undisturbed for at least 30 seconds to give you an accurate average. I hope that helps. Blessings and healing energy '82!
