Here's to all the seedlings out there and the growers that take care of them.

Hahah is this as profound? Possibly? Hahah

Hahaha yes! I'm not a religious person although very spiritual. However you interpret that person or thing that created these seeds though and whoever wrote the Bible knew about those seeds and that they made em for a reason other than us to do funny things with lol

But it is fun

Good afternoon from the babies

DAY 2 FROM SOIL SPROUT

Not sure what that faint color is on the end of Vivian, Bubblegum. Maybe from her pushing out? She's seen no form of any kind of chemical or nutrient or anything like that so I know it's not a burn of some kind. Def not a light thing either so I guess it's just an aesthetical thing since she's had those spots from when she popped out of her shell.

Other than that, color and size are perfect for all of them

I'm gonna just be going by their names soon so y'all need to start remembering their names moving forward...no more double naming

So you all know I don't want a LED seedling mishap like we had last time, although they ended up recovering fully under the grace of the Canna Gods....

With that said, I currently have the girls at 24 inches from canopy and the MG3000 (300W) set to 10%. I have the aux 150W light set to 10% also. Total of 45W (between the total of 5 seedlings) although the MG is directly over them and the other is just off to the side, specifically to use the heat from the driver to help keep the heat up in the tent with the lights down.

I had it set to 28 inches then 22 and finally decided on 24.

Girls seem to like it just curious if anyone had any different thoughts on how I'm approaching this grow so far?!

Thanks for any input guys, I am always looking to learn!

Wish I could help - but @Jon keeps an eye on my lights for me ;)

This might help

I'm curious as to why they're wet. Sprouts should be getting all their moisture from their roots.
Just got hit when I spritzed the tent walls, Shed. Usually dry like the last set of pics just spray usually when I go in there for pics
This might help

I've seen this. I just know everything is generalized w these
Looking great in here congrats on the seedlings !!!!
Thanks Jacky

Call me crazy if you want, but Sriracha goes on everything-even Shepard's Pie leftovers

Be back with the girls tomorrow

Blueberry aka Indigo: :hmmmm:
Coloring is fine but leaves are droopy;
I also think the angle I caught her pic at wasn't the best to show her coloring, btw..

Bubblegum aka Vivian:
Coloring has always been slightly off, even since birth with weird tips. Her coloring remains slightly off

Fruit aka Mamba: :high-five:
The littlest and healthiest of the bunch all around. Perky little bugger

All are showing the small seconds to some degree :adore: ironically, Blueberry the most and Fruit the least

Seem to be doing well. But want to see how responsive they are so I:

-Moved the light up to 32 inches at this juncture to provoke a stretch and see how they respond.

-I also added a touch of FFOF (maybe an 1/8c) and castings (1/4tsp) as a "topping" per say and lightly spritzed with water.

:)Happy note:
I am already seeing roots from the bottom of the pots which was a nice thing to come across today.

:reading420magazine:

Total wattage is about 40 between having the MG3000 to about 10 (it's hard to read without ticks lol) and the 150W (which we are using the driver for to dispense additional heat) to basically on at around 10W I would imagine.

I spritz their direct stem line into the "ground" once a day with a couple squirts and their top soil as needed, about once or twice a day.

Happy grows!

I think Indigo is telling you something.

@7Dust2 posted a great visual! I was about to do the same. Thanks 7Dust. Amazing freaking band by the way!!!

'82 that visual aid is a good general starting point for all our grows moving forward. They have a basic need for good growth and there is definitely a point of diminishing returns. Learning that is important!

I too was going to comment about trying to focus on your PPFD or lux more so than your distance and wattage. I think those are secondary. I focus on getting the ppfd coverage I want and then dial my light as low as I can (distance and wattage) to be as energy efficient as possible. ESPECIALLY with babies and vegging. It is a waste of energy to go higher and turning it up to ultimately get the same amount of light. I would HIGH-ly recommend trying the Photone app. There are also light meters you can use. I personally prefer the app and there are multiple reasons. Anyway, get used to reading for PPFD or the lux equivalent. It is a great skill set. Let me know if you need help getting it dialed in or how to use it should you decide to try it. Also, I could recommend looking at the manufacturers PPFD chart and trying to find your balance by using their chart. I was able to dial in and calibrate my meter using their data.

I saw that post on his journal today! I downloaded the app and with the suggestions on the chart and the reading I got with the app, I have increased to 220 which is I'd say 20% on the MG3000. Let's see how they respond overnight!

Thank you Baked and everyone for your suggestions!
