Thanx Insane!!

I think it may be time to chop Her soon. Today i'm going to check the trichs. They should all be cloudy w/ some amber. I'll know definetly tonight, yesterday was the start of week 15((DAMN!!!)) If all is cloudy then I will throw her into the dark period along with no feeding, she hasnt been feed in the last 2 days, so this will be a nice drought period to really push her to the limits as shes' done already.This dark period should amber up those trichs just perfectly. Any oppinions?

SIDENOTE: I tasted the cola that broke off of her. She was so smooth, the taste is ver yvery distinct. The smell, smoke and the flavor going into and out of your mouth is perfectly the same. my wife said it tadsted like a sweet purfume..lol..then she caughed her lungs out..lmfao..now that was a sight..:rofl::rofl::rofl::rofl:

Thanks, Butcher, for your help elsewhere on how to take a clone. I tried to rep but must rep others first.

So, you go for a lower branch that has, say, 3 nodes, and you cut above the first one so that first node can continue to grow. Then, OldGrowingDude said, remove the leaves of the second node and coat with cloning jel as the roots will come from there and the cut tip. Have I got it?
 
yeah you got it..I think he ment to say place the cutting in the gel. i dont think he ment put rooting gel al the way fom the second shot. I dip an inch of the cuttings in. Scrape the bottom inch then dip. This will help the gel to penetrate the cutting easier.
 
Been wondering how the Islads been doing.Been smoking a lil to much lolo lately? hhmmm great harvest usually mean a coma for a few days..LOL..thanx for the kind wors bro. just in time to tell me if you think I should yank mother rainbow..Any thoughts? Anyone?
 
lol, hell yeah, you know whats up Butcher! lol. I have been harvest comatosed for about a week now, lol. Just starting to wake up from the haze, lol. Gimme a minute to read further in your journal and Ill see what your talking about then chime in with my 2 cents.
 
ok so heres my thoughts. I just skimmed but it looks like you have a plant (rainbow kush) thats taking forever and holding up your progress. First do you have to wait for this one plant before you can start vegging your next batch? If you do you might be loosing more by keeping it than if you were to take it down and let others take its place, especially if you only have one room to veg and flower in. Second is humidity, if humidity is an issue a thick dense nug like that may rot in its old age from the density and age of the plant. Another thing to remember is that some strains simply wont finish indoors under artificial lights no matter what you do, some equatorial varieties will keep pushing new growth out forever. If your not worrying about mold and you dont need it down to make room then I would let it go a little longer (as long as you have smoke). But otherwise I would take it down for any of the reasons mentioned above. Its always nice to give it as much time as possible but theres a point where your not doing yourself any favors by letting it go longer and in that case it usually makes sense to take it down, even if it does make you sad...lol, it makes me sad. Anyhow theres my two cents man, hopefully it gives you some things to talk think about. Its a nice nug man but anything over 4 months is just too long for me, unless of course its outdoors or just chillin in a windowsill not taking up space.
 
thanks for the thoughts G.I. As far as the veg goes Their already in flower. And I got ta seperate veg room already going. And just upgraded my old 20 site to an aero system the exact same that I'm rumming in this area but smaller. I set up a friend of mine with it. He cant maintain it cause of how sick he get s from his chemotherapy. So usually I give him herb every harvest, I paid for him to get licence.

Sounds like something I wouldve done. lol. I feel bad for people and just cant help myself, I have to help! People are always surprised when your willing to give them free meds, but when you have some to spare its the right thing to do, plus Im only allowed to have so much at any given time so it works for both of us, they need it and sometimes I need to give it away. And I would feel like such a dick trying to charge someone who is sick and dying for something that gives them releif, I wish it was free for them and covered by medicare but I dont see that happening any day soon. Charging anyone to smoke just seems all wrong to me. Its a plant to be enjoyed by all, and given to all who need it. Only people pretty well off can afford the $300 for a oz they usually charge for meds, and the people that can afford it awesome, to those who cant should be able to find it for free, atleast in a perfect world they should.
