The Blueberry Bunch, Group Comparison Grow

What's everyone's experience with odour on blueberry strains? One reason for me choosing them was that they apparently are a low odour strain. Yet at 3 weeks old are stinking like crazy. It's a lovely smell but I'm struggling to contain it.

Same with my Blueberry Muffin. The strongest aroma of the 5 strains I grew.

I've gotten cat piss smell on several BB plants. It always fades during the drying/curing, then I end up with the earthy/soil flavor.

Surprisingly, one of my favorite cannabis flavors... lol, dirt!

Mine smell quite fruity @ 6 weeks, which seems to stay to the cured bud. My favourite smoke by far. I have never heard that blueberry was a low odour plant, and this one sure isn't! Smelly at 3 weeks though? You're going to need a carbon filter......

I have 2 X DIY carbon filters. I had a commercially made one but the inline fan died after 5 hours and really the can filter took up loads of my grow space. In a small cabinet. May have to add a 3rd filter at this rate. Think I'll grow northern lights or polar express next time. They're supposed to be low odour.

The 1L pot girl seems to be enjoying life at least.

Put them outside, they love it. I will plant them in the lattice, tomatoes, passion fruit and peas will conceal them.

Lookn good over there congrats. I really like that lil homemade wooden fence u got there. And yea those autos should do great outside. Hey I had a question about the whoberry strain. Who is the breeder and where did u get those seeds if u dnt mind me askn? Jus wondering cause I tried looking it up to find out about the strain an all that came back was stuff about the strain Dr. Who or the strain whiteberry.

Thank you, the lattice structure is helping me get back into gardening and better shape. I am the creator of Whoberry Haze, been growing out the seeds for a couple years, searching. I started breeding six years ago, selecting stable plants and crossing for smell, flavor, color, potency, and affect on my symptoms. My best is Gwillith, fem Romulan Diesel x Sharks Breath. She is a monster, I have had her alive for five years, got lucky, and keep getting lucky. Helps that I stack the deck.
The Whoberry Haze line is a step along the way. She does get very bushy when lstd,or scrogged. Spider mites love her bushy sanctuary. I am trying her Christmas tree style for my second indoor run with her. I have two outside to flower and reveg to check for stress hermies. She is easy to clone, grows and flowers fast, smells like blueberrys, and stony af. Might get huge outside. I crossed a Blue Haze female with a very red and productive male Dr. Who. I still have some Dr. Who seeds.

Nice that cross sounds tastey good luck with her outdoor. I had a kali mist I put outdoor one year and she got huge as shit lol. I jus wish I had put her ina better light position. Cause my clones would do great but both reveg attempts hermied on me outside. So idk maybe it was cause the seeds I used were possible hermie seeds. But since I took clones from them u woulda thought they would have hermie as well but nope. For some reason if I took a clone which I did I took 4 and they all didnt hermy on me. But the mom I took them from which was a reveg attempt did. Maybe it was cause the reveg was an indoor to outdoor transition both times. But the clones i took from them went straight from cloner bucket to back outside. So maybe it was the xtra stress on the reveg attempts that caused it idk not fully sure. It was some of the best tasting smoke I had from an outdoor harvest. I really wish I had some beans left to run that weren't from the hermie outdoor batch. But oh well I figured I'd still save em. If down the line I ever wanted to run it again an I was ina pinch or not able 2 order seeds ever again or whatever I'll now have something different I'll b able to run. An with alil work I could breed the hermy trait back out if I really wanted to so I kept them lol.
But yea u ever do any auto breeding? I've been trying my hand at some auto breeding and came up with some nice crosses. They are all turning out pretty good. Well all but one that is lol. I'm havn trouble with one strain my pineapple express auto crossed with a tangie'matic auto the genetics keep seeming unstable now matter what bean I run they all seem to be turning out weird.

My light has 4 circular areas full of LED's, two are mostly red, and two are mostly blue. The buds under the red LED's have turned stark white at their tips, and the other ones are green.

I would be trying to find a way to rotate that light to give all the plants a chance under the different spectrums.

So I got the new Bluedream under the new QB light. An 2day I noticed she is forsure flowering out. Here she is at day 37ish so about a day of flowering lol not to bad. She will be done in the next couple of weeks.

Day 61 Flower and she’s likely not gonna be standing/leaning in the next shots I post of her.
Somebody grab my scissors away from me!

Edit: I forgot to mention something, she threw a bunch of new pistils out recently. You guys that have grown blueberry experience this before?
Also, I took a sampler and she’s real nice. Sadly the dank rotten blueberry smell has turned almost citrusy and gassy.

Not specifically Blueberry, but I've had a few girls throw out fresh pistils at the end.
I've cut a few anyhow... but the 2 girls that I left growing for 2 more weeks, went foxtail crazy!
:thumb:

I was going to say that the two Seedsman Blueberry plants I grew last year both put out more new pistils right around the time I was getting ready to harvest them. A week later they started to foxtail. At that time her trichromes were 90% cloudy, 5% clear, and 5% amber. Perfect for me so I harvested them.
