Sorry to keep this thread off the actual journal, but on topic if Oaksterdam, a must read is this articale that just came out about lawmakers from 5 states writing an open letter to Washington to back off the MMJ state laws.

updatness: ok yall ive gone n implemented the new equipment, heres the tent with the light and exhaust hooked up and running cool and quiet,
heres a raw shot no white balance set

and now corrected,

heres the exhaust system, carbon scrubber,on the left ducting to the other side ,inline fan pulling 190 cfm @ 65 watts,it has a noise canceling cover , and connected to another run of ducting that vents outside, (i sprayed febreeze in there ran out and sniffed nothing but warm fresh smelling air no hint of fragrance)

heres the view peeking in the top zipper

heres the girls not ideally positioned(yet) in their new home

the purple maroc is a 7 week flowertime, i have been checking for amber daily and like clockwork on 7 weeks to the day i noticed plenty of amber, and then i noticed as you'll notice in a sec, the trichomes have all taken on a subtle tan color, and almost no clear left at all, mostly soft milky, in other words shes ready i was going to chop today but im exhausted after all the work getting it all setup, so it will be tomorrow
she smells amazing , i kinda wish i had kept her as a mother, she is by far the most frosty plant i have grown so far, guess i could always take a clone during harvest, heres some shots celebrating her life,

i'll post the shots celebrating her "death" tomorrow *wink*
the 3 clones i took from her are a week or 3 behind her it will be interesting to see how they compare to momma since they have been fed farmers pride 7 part organics rather than the 2 o 3 part bpn nutes

funny i had to go back to the 1st few pages to see what you mean, but i suppose my camera work has improved a bit,
im glad you know they do look better in person, thats one thing that drives me crazy, the pics never match what im seeing,
they are frosted indeed, im gonna have to make a special pile to set aside from this ripe mama

so i have been thinking,, i recently decided i would try doing all my plants 12/12 from seed, now close to a month in i have some thoughts, i think its good for certain strains, like sativa dominate types, looking at my plants i noticed my indica strains are getting more stretchy than i like, the node spacing is odd to me, i think the 12 hours of dark before they are ready, makes them stretch more, than they would normally, its all theory at this point, but i have decided i will not coutinue this as a rule ,i would switch them back but i fear hermies,from light stress, im going to clone and reveg the clones, cuz i love the look of the blueberry gum, i want a mother of that and the blue cheese, so there are some advantages i see, like flowering clones, i notice that due to lower N levels, they root faster, however it takes them a bit longer to reveg and start growing, but it evens out in the end, and having roots a few days sooner is worth the lower time they spend without roots, at least for me it ends my worry over whether they are gonna take or not, the thing i have learned is its easy to change to flower when you want, but not as easy to go back to veg, theres a lag time i dont like, so i guess im agreeing that veg is good now that i have the tent and light power im gonna do a few big plants im thinking a 2 month veg on a couple clones (the indicas) and see what i can get, ,

thanks main, much grassyass!! i dont know if i can hold a candle to xlr8 but i lap up the compliments, at least it now "looks" like i have an idea what im doing,, lol far cry rom my cfl diy light array, (still use it for veg and boiz) in a tiny closet, maybe now i can grow some dank ass tomatoes!!

holy zeuses butt!! yeah thats a cuban cigar my friend!! i did once roll a 9 paper doob it was just trim tho,, your giving me wasteful ideas....
i'll post pics tomorrow, but after the chop today i got 102 grams/3.7oz and 56 g /2.0oz very sticky frosty trim, wet weights, oh and a 1 g ball of scissor hash, that got me tanked on 1 hit,! the smell of the purple maroc is quite amazing i cant wait till its dried and cured,,,
