so so so true, i get as much good as bad probably more good, being 85% IRISH the luck thing is ever present, every day a roller coaster ride !

i did get those tickets! so jd lighting being the most gracious ppl that they are, will have a replacement here by tomorrow, and it appears the culprit is a space heater in another part of the house but on the same breaker, it rarely comes on, but the ballast is designed to take the hit rather than the breaker being tripped, this is to protect the growers other items that may be on the same circut, i'll be moving or killing the space heater, and upgrading the breaker to a bigger amperage one,the ballast requires a dedicated 10 amps! so i should be back on track shortly with the "grow from hell"!

yikes gator! im told that 1 light per 15 amp breaker is recommended each use 10 amps per startup strike,approx 6 seconds,, but its preferred i up my breakers to 25amp minium i will do it to save from having this happen over and over, something for a gator to think on..

My eballasts do a new-fangled soft-start, and hot re-starts seem no problem.
No striking an arc allowed, they work hard in a quiet way.

Truth? I added an 80w 4" fan, for a couple of days. No lights out!
My other circuit(yes, only two) is the juggling act
Heater elements and many motors surge 'em up, but not my green beauties.

i was very surprised at the speed at which they move, at nearly overnight speed i only got off the phone 24 hours ago and the replacment will be here about 24 from now, i spied on the ladies a few min ago and took a few pics i see temps are so good at 75 on a warmer than normal day! with many cfls running wild in there, pre the fan i would be leaving the doors wide open, i also saw purple maroc becoming very frosty more than p#1 that is 2 weeks longer in flower...

i believe thats the same terminology for my "state of the art" e-ballast i have read, perhaps i have gremlins afoot in my wires..... even soft start has a extra draw at start up then settling down after the rush i must map circuits in this frumpy lil home...

ok heres some pics from today, 1st is my new vent 13 bux at HD 50cfm 3inch vent works really well in my little space, and then the crazy cfl swarm of lights back to normal tomorrow, purple showing on maroc and p#1 is crazy fruity pebbels looking and smells like cantaloupe till you touch it then it smells of berries and spice, nothing like any cannabis i have ever smelled before i cant wait to taste it only 2-3 more weeks!!

I just had a debate with some one that has the gift of the right to growing for him self. and does not need to hide, as others do
and as my journal showes Cfls -not as awsom as hps or leds but perform as what it is Great For Now to be up graded at later date

This is still the best forum ever. I need major funding to try all the amazing setups here

Lets take a trip to Imajin Land

Find the 3 most commonly used grow styles , A hps/mh light , LED, and CFL, and Nutriants,I am thinking BPN, AN,and fox farms, and don't for get the media too.
All the side buy cobinations that can be pulled from this list of materials

I installed a 20A and 30a breaker in my panel, and dedicated them both solely to these grow units (to avoid tripping the breakers on startup) because of that. Man, I didn't know the ballasts would fry if it happened, though! Seems like there would be an inline fuse, surge protector or thermal overload in the ballast, huh?
