Looking good SatkisSame tent yesterday, this setup has a 480m3/h exhaust fan that pulls air from active carbon filter and the cooltube out of tent. And passive intake. 2 clipfans and a scrog net. Plants are in coco/perlite mix. Its a working and easy setup.

Good idea, but then i'd have to put more fans inside the tent, atleast 1 that blows straight to bulb. But its doable. The room is small, about 7x7-8-8 but i have a window where im blowing the hot air out. I know it makes a little difference in yield taking the cooltube out. But for now it stays as it is cause the tent is about 60 miles from where i live so i visit there maybe once a week or two weeks. The guy keeping things rolling for me allready burnt the tops of my critical. I made him the easiest jobs even easier, just do exactly as i say and it will workout ok! But i forgot the lamp to plant distances! Its not bad, and he was apolocizing me! I said your crazy, i dont know any other dude that does that good with only instructions in hand without any previous grows! So thumbs up for him!!! Got a little sidetracked again, havent medicated yet today and the add is kicking my but

I am about to start a grow in a 4x4x80”, and I would appreciate if you guys can approve or make suggestions on my equipment...
Tent is located in a downstairs room. The temperature in the room will be 70-75... I will place my Sensor Thermometer/Hygrometer in the room tomorrow to provide a better idea of the avg. temp and humidity, but the room is air conditioned along with the rest of the house and humidity should be low.
-Strains: North Thunderfuck x3 and Blueberry x3
- 5 gallon final container, 6 plants.
-Exhaust Fan (air will go out window right next to tent): AC Infinity 6”
-Carbon Filter: Phresh 6”x24
-Light: HLG260XL LED during veg., 2xHLG260XL during flower
-2x 6” clip on fans for air flow
My biggest concerns: Heat, humidity, and smell. I don’t want the house to smell like weed to the extent that it can be avoided... naturally, when I open the tent there will be a smell. Anything else I should add to help with smell?
Is heat manageable with that equipment? I’m just planning on passive airflow... Do you guys think using an intake fan would be better?
I appreciate any help or advice you guys can offer.

sounds pretty good so far.. should be manageable
you really dont know what your going to need to correct until you set everything up and see where your sitting. biggest factor is the environment of room that the tent is in..
basements tend to see least fluxuation, and stay fairly cool all year
i grow in a house, in a basement, in a tent and as the seasons change you may need to tweak a couple things,
as for smell, genetics can help there..
maybe you want to try and isolate the room your growing in with a door or something physical.
i use a small intake fan, only 100cfm 4"
during winter i draw air from outside with it...
during spring n summer i just draw air from basment into tent...
seems to help

Hey guys, recently upgraded from a 2x4' to a 4x4'.
I'm running 4 Barney's farm lsd in 22l pots.
Got a 400w hps in a cooltube with 350w of 3000k Samsung led strips covering the edges.
Just starting 2nd week of flower.

there both 260 watt what makes one XL?
and is the R spec aimed at flowering specifically.. do you have a seperate light for veg n flower?

Technically it’s a 4.5’x4.5’ but who’s measuring? It currently has four clones from a Cherry Cookies bag seed under 480w LEDs in 27 gallon rdwc totes with a 27 gallon reservoir and diy chiller. I’m also running Mega Crop nutrients and just transferred the girls into the system Sunday. I’m currently hand watering for the next few days until the roots hit the water; I don’t run air stones or have a top drip system, yet. I plan on setting up two more similar tents this fall (already bought the tents, all 3 for $280 total after tax and free 2 day shipping).
Anyways, enough of this here’s a few photos of the setup. I have more in the journal in my signature.

Very cool setup! Im actually very interested in your tent(s) though. I've been looking for a 4.5' × 4.5' tent for some time now. Can you tell me where you got yours from. And are you happy with it? And what is the height of your 4.5'×4.5' tent(s)?

I won’t be able to post here much longer. After this grow I’m moving onto a MarsHydro 5x5 grow tent. So this is a couple days old but roughly 2 weeks into flowering.
