Rock on !!It took them awhile to dry out this time because I didnt chop them. After 8 days they still had not shrunk much, they felt dry & leathery so I clipped the buds and let them finish drying up in boxes. My basement is not heated temps were mid to low 50s with the exhaust fan running the humidity was steady at 35%. They dried really slow but got there eventually. I think it worked out OK in the end because my terps seem better than they have ever been.
I had a really good yield this time you guys. My last grow I got 1.25 lb, I was happy with that but thought with my 600w hps + 3x 64w shoplights I could get to 1.5 lb. The 4 plants on the bench in these pics totaled 1.498 lb. Before this grow the most I had gotten from one plant was 188.6g. Two of the cardboard boxes beat that, the heaviest being 213.2g / 7.5zip.
I was happy with this, even better I still had two left . The last 2 took more time to dry because the nugs were bigger, 3-4 days longer than the previous 4 did. One was the gg4 that was leaning out the front door of the tent in the pics & the other was a clone I took from the mutant that grew to the ceiling on my last grow.
I had to go buy another box of jars. The large ones in the pic are 1 liter & the two smaller ones on the right are 500ml. With my pots sitting up on milk crates its easy to work on them in the tent. I do my best to trim lower fluff buds away if I see they will not get much light. The large jar on top to the far right has 38.8 g fluff I will use for cookies, the rest of them are filled with frosty nugs. The buds closest to the florescents were extra frosty, the flash from the camera makes it look like they have icing on them. All included in my total yield of 2.31 lb / 36.9zip sits in the jars in the pics minus 10.2g of sample buds I have smoked. This run I flushed for 3 weeks instead of my usual 2 & slow dried the bud for 3 - 3.5 weeks before it went in the jars. Its not fully cured yet but the samples I have tried tasted smoother than anything I have grown previously. I use a little vinegar to ph my tap water & Canna A/B + calmag, nothing else. I figured the ph thing out using a test kit from my fish tank. I did not check ppm/ph once during the grow. I just fill a 10L jug with water @ 68F mix it up, dump in the res and turn the pump on till I see runoff. Looking forward to another run soon, happy growing everyone!
Good looking plant Canuck
Can I ask how you keep your temp down with that much light power ? I have the equivalent to one of those lights with a 6 inch fan and filter same space and cant keep get it under 83This is the tent.
4x4 vivisun
4” ac infinity fan with 4”carbon filter
3 2000w bestva reflector series led lights. Each pull just over 400w from the wall.
little pump setup to water every 6 hours.
Used canna nutes and grew in canna coco.
Thanks for the quick reply... even with 4 baby clones you think it will drop ? With just the veg switch on it hovers around 83 ...if I could get it to 80 with plants in there I'd be very happy lol just a little frustrated that I cant achieve what I think is optimal temps and humidityOnce you get plants in there it should drop a couple of degrees.
And then as the plants get bigger they consume more heat ? Am I right in that thought process ?My temps are a little over 80 degrees right now but I doubt sweat it in veg. Not a huge deal.
