Testing The ViparSpectra XS1000 With VetSmoke85

And your time bombs are looking great- not huge, but not bad at all :thumb:

As usual I'm thinking about the next grow. I've had the idea this morning of doing a bit of a cookies fest with photoperiods. I have GSC, Wedding Cake & Do-Si-Dos. Want to add one more though. Possibly the Sunset Sherbert from @CoffeeShopSeeds. If anyone has any recommendations for cookies strains I'm all ears.
Kannabia: Cookies Haze or Gelato K, I got some waiting for me to drop next month! I'd love to have a seed buddy!

BTW I am catching up here and sorry I am just getting over here I would have absolutely tried to help when you had your PBlend issue going on!

I love your diversity here. I enjoy that very much in a grow.

Perlite is something I would like to try down the road as I see Shed and so many others using it now.

Hope you don't mind I'm going from the newer posts and back-don't be upset if I don't make it all the way back and just start hopping to catch myself up some more with how this all began!

Happy growing '85 :passitleft:

That's a great description of an auto grow, Vet! :laughtwo:
I can hear them ticking while I try to sleep at night.

It could always be worse couldn't it. The aroma in the tent helps lessen the disappointment. I feel the hempy plants may redeem this run.

Omg thank you. I literally uppot around 4 times.

So if the seeds strikes I go straight to the forever pot.

How big do they get? Can you put something in your tent so I can get a better gauge on size?

And what causes stunt?

I feel like I shouldn't comment since I'm a newer grower with less experience but have only ever grown auto's.

As vet mentioned if transplanting you only ever want to transplant once since auto's really don't like being stressed and have less time to recover before they go into flower.

I've always waited around 2 - 3 weeks before transplanting but I normally grow in coco, I would assume much sooner in perlite.

Auto's can get massive. My first grow journal there are pictures of my 3 auto's that took up most of my 4x4 tent, the second journal was 6 plants in a 4x8 the plants grew tall and took up half the tent.

Shucks! I already bought those platinum cookies and got the Godfather OG free with them so I'll get an awful telling off if I buy more seeds now. They sound like good ones.

No need to apologise, you have a lot going on yourself here. I appreciate you joining in here. I'm not sure exactly what went wrong with these. My 'trio of sponsors' journal had 3 of the Tangerine Dream autos being fed with the PB and they showed signs of nitrogen toxicity but were otherwise okay. Unfortunately I had to cut them down halfway through flowering when our landlady decided to sell the house we were in. This is my first grow in the new place.

Yeah I like to try lots of different things. I've recently learnt that autism and ADHD kinda runs in my family and it makes so much sense now. Lol. Most of us haven't been officially diagnosed with anything but a few have and the more we've learnt about it the more obvious it is.

Comment away mate. Your experience is just as valuable as the rest of us. Thanks.

Next time!!! Feel free to live vicariously through mine and I'll do the same with yours!

Of course!

Some are more finicky than others that's all I can say...they all want different things. Finding that balance is the hardest part with multiple strains

Oh Christ lol

What makes you think you have ADHD, I feel like that diagnosis gets thrown around a lot...you're about my age, little younger and that's when those 2 terms autism/add just came out of nowhere and seemed to be hitting everyone. If anything, finding the right strain for you will balance you out-with whatever YOU feel needs balancing. Don't leave that stuff to the doctors, environment plays a big role in how we manage our emotions. Take notice of your surroundings and what brings out what feelings in you. Awareness is key. I've had diagnoses after diagnoses and I threw them all in the trash tbh. Best medicine for any of that you already have under those lights buddy.

Happy to be following along with ya!

Anytime. You've grown some great autos. I find it interesting that some people just seem to get on with them great and others just have a nightmare with them. Accomplished growers too.
I love autos!!!!

Two of my grows have been a nightmare, one due to an unexpected house inspection and this grow which the plants had deficiencies early on which I think has stunted them somewhat. For whatever reason I keep growing auto's but really need to give photoperiods a run. I've been saying I would since I started growing.

Exactly this. But I'm too lazy/don't have the time to mix lots of different strength feeds. Yet I insist on multiple strains. Lol. So I'll take the hit with some scraggy looking plants.
What makes you think you have ADHD
I'm not sure if it is or not but my behaviours match a lot of the criteria (restless legs, fidget, start so many things I never finish, change my plans constantly, can't stay in 1 job/location for long etc etc) and with having other family members diagnosed I've just put 2+2 together. If it is or not doesn't really matter as it's just who I am and I will continue as normal but it can be helpful to understand the why sometimes. Weed has helped me massively with my mental health struggles in recent years. I can use it to get into the eye of the storm that is my mind and then pick bits out as they whizz past and either deal with them or discard them.

They looked pretty good last time I saw mate. What you need to do is get a link to your journal in your signature. Photos are nice in that you have more margin for error.

I'm the same when it comes to growing.
Quite lazy lol

I feel you bud. I'm exactly the same, I'm constantly restless, struggle with sleep as my mind is always on overdrive, i struggle to keep jobs, was in and out of the system growing up, always moving from place to place, dealing with mental health problems, always on edge, social anxieties etc
At times I feel like I'm a ticking time bomb

Hope the green helps mate. It does for me and my cousin. I always thought people with ADHD were just loud and had lots of energy etc but that's just some and there is so much more to it. It's interesting to learn about actually. All the little traits and behaviours. Some can come across as lazy or lethargic but it's just they get exhausted because their mind goes 2 million mph and it wipes them out mentally and physically.

Good morning @MGD420 hope you are ok my friend.
I'm sorry to hear of your issues.
I personally suffer similar problems and can relate. :green_heart:
I started taking cbd on a daily basis.
It has relived my anxiety and helped immensely with sleep.
I don't know if you have access to it where you are.
UK laws fek.
But if you can get it I'd recommend giving it a try.
I also take rso which helps with health issues.
I recommend that highly aswell, but it's harder to get a hold of than cbd.
Take care
Bill
