Testing The ViparSpectra XS1000 With VetSmoke85

Hoping for the best possible outcome for you and the family, Vet!
That "might not have to move after all" thing sounds promising...

Wishing you the best Vet. Hope you get to remain in place. :goodluck:

Not growing quite as rapidly as I'd like for autos. Two will be a week old tomorrow. Seeing some good roots in the pots though.

VetSmoke85, I start auto seedlings in their final 5 gallon pot to avoid any stall in their short life span. Do you find they thrive and recover with a cup start and transplant? Cheers

Day 22 for these girls. Although the Skywalker Haze was a few days behind. But to make things easy I'm saying day 22 for all.

The Pineapple Express is 1' tall now and looking good. She was watered tonight.

The Skywalker Haze is a little shorter but starting to look much better now. She'll be ready for watering tomorrow I think.

Now for the Orange Sherbert. The tallest of the bunch. She doesn't look all that bad in the pics but has some really funky leaves and some light bronze patches coming through on a few. Maybe needed those nutrients a little sooner? Looks a dark green though. Will see how things look over the next few days.

Catching up and looking great. I love a fast potent high yield auto grow with the right conditions. Looking forward to seeing your LED results…right behind you on a LED test. Cheers

I'll correct myself. One more centre right. She was in the bottom corner until I moved her a bit recently.

I'm thinking of cable tying that ducting down the rear right pole to make more space on that side. I had a new Rhino filter arrive today so tomorrow night I'll fit that and rearrange things slightly. Try to get these ladies all the light I can give them for flowering. I think for this size tent the XS1500 would be better but when the sponsorship was agreed I was planning on using it in a 2x2 then changed my mind. As I do. The XS1000 is still doing a great job though.
VetSmoke85, What is your tent size for this XS1000grow? I wedged 2 XS1000 lights into my 3x3’ for max full spectrum intensity…my first LED grow just sprouted. Cheers

In my limited experience they have yeah. I started the most recent ones in 2 gallon final pots and they were half the size. Could've been more to do with the different strain though. My thought is it's easier to over or under water a small plant in a large final container which will slow it down as much or more than a transplant would. Just my thoughts though. When I get back up and running I might do one of the Tangerine Dream starting in its final pot and one in a small pot and transplant. See what the difference is.

Hmmmm I think that tent was 50x90x140cm. The XS1000 did a pretty good job in there to be fair.

I will look forward to any trials to push fast auto yields and quality. Cheers

I have to do the metric to inches conversion, not tonight :bongrip:

Don’t feel bad, in my experience most guys who do understand this measurement scale hugely overestimate when it comes to measuring things in inches…

Hi NTH:ciao:. We moved on Saturday and I'm now in the storm of sorting out the old house to hand back and unpacking the new house to be comfortable before Christmas. Can't get time off work which is making it more challenging. Last hurdle though and I'll be back to join in all the fun.

Thanks Bill. Been a super stressful and exhausting few months so we're looking forward to being somewhat settled by Christmas. I've got a spot to set up my smaller tents so fingers crossed I can get around to that soon. Need to create space in the garage before I can get the bigger Mars tent set up though.
