TeSmp's 400W White Widow's + Soil & DWC Lollipops

Re: teSmp's 400w White Widow's + Soil & DWC Lollipops - BPN

OMG lucky! :p i cant wait for Unknown and Susan (The White Russain) Finally named her :)

Although I'm not to thrilled with the bud size I'm very happy with how the buds look and all the frostiness :)

frostiness = omg roll your face on a soft fuzz thing mode :)

I know right? I think that's exactly what I was doing earlier!

Re: teSmp's 400w White Widow's + Soil & DWC Lollipops - BPN

I may, I have done it before but I don't know enough to if it made any sort of difference. I was thinking maybe 24-36 hours but it will just depend on how things look when it comes that time. And if anyone else chimes in and says it would benefit :)

I have heard about people crushing the bottom part of the trunk 24 hrs before they pull them to get every last thing they can out of them.

I've heard plenty of wise tales that sound strange. Like lightly slicing the stem with a blade every week to induce stress. Or boiling your roots in water after you harvest to draw everything into the buds. Lots of strange things now that I think of it

Yea but the question is.........is any of it true?

Lol, well until I saw some solid results I would never try. Dark period at the end is fairly common though.

Exactly, wouldn't try myself lol.

Re: teSmp's 400w White Widow's + Soil & DWC Lollipops - BPN

all interesting ideas, i could see some sort of stress making the plant produce more resin, if im not mistaken isnt the resin produced to stop little beasties and animals eating it before it has time to get pollenated and seed, well if that is true then i could see some kind of stress making it produce more, but it would have to be done close to harvest else it could turn hermie, its just a thought people, ive heard of the dark period but none of the others, although the cutting into the stem could work due to it stressing the plant, but till its tried and tested ill stick with what i have seen and heard works, but all very interesting ideas though

I'm not going to try anything crazy with mine either...

Anyone know of any low smelling outdoor strains? I kind of want to do a few out in the backyard but it can't smell a bunch?? Auto flowering though.

If smell is an issue, then avoid any of the autos that have diesel in the name, but I know I've seen some that said they didn't stink too bad. I'd use the search function on some of our sponsors like Castle etc.

Thanks I've been looking, none really say if they smell or not. I have a diesel strain in my tent, and yeah I wouldn't think about putting it outdoors. It smelled more vegging then my WW at 25 days into flowering.

Northern lights is known to be a low odor strain.

C-99 smells like lemons

Skunk #1, Chronic, Ak-47, Jamaican, & some Super Silver Hazes are a few others

Re: teSmp's 400w White Widow's + Soil & DWC Lollipops - BPN

Hello, I don't think the SCROG was more or less of the problem. I think a few thing's could have been better:

1.) I thought my 1/2 teaspoon was a teaspoon (I didn't even think I owned 1/2 a teaspoon) so I have been giving them half nutrients this entire grow.

2.) I followed the nutrient chart on the bottle the entire time, again wrong. Follow the chart on the website.

3.) My temps got high and my humidity was to low over several stages of the grow. I ordered an air cooled hood, it will be here today. And I have the humidity just where I want it.

4.) The screen should have been higher and I should have vegged longer. As well as re-doing the screen to fit this tent, it was very inefficient and designed to fit in my last grow space.

5.) I should have used 5 gallon pots. Now I'm going to hydro.

6.) I don't have enough experience to say whether or not the defoliating was a good idea.

And lastly I don't really know about WW. Some have told me it's more of a potent strain but not to high yielding. Others have said it can yield a lot. I can assure you my future grows will be much better, including the 2L I have in there and the DWC I start next week. :thanks:

Ohh and we can't forget, this is only day 39 of a 60-65 day strain so it could fatten up a good bit still. And they're on full strength nutes till it's time to start flushing.

I have heard that WW is genetically bread to be grown indoors and that it is one of the highest yielding strains, but it is still very potent. Also read somewhere that most strains put on over half of their weight/bulk the last three weeks of flowering/budding. If this is true I wouldn't sweat it for the time being... Just give it a little more time and I think you will be more than satisfied! Tell me how much dried herb you get from each plant when u r finished, I am curious to see how it turns out!

Re: teSmp's 400w White Widow's + Soil & DWC Lollipops - BPN

teSmp, what temps should i be aiming for when lights are on, im trying to figure out why growth is slow, my compost has no added nutes, so it rules that out, its also good compost that drains really well with little or no clumping, i mean i can dig down on the pots with a couple of fingers with ease so i know its not that, ive been adding basic nutes to improve growth, which im sure it did at first, but now ive got thick stems and growth has slowed, lower branch growth is good, but upwards growth is slow, could it be temps, ive turned my little fan off, as air temp was below 70f but with the fan on this will bring it down with the wind chill factor, so possibly the temp was to cool, ive turned the fan off, ill keep an eye on temps for an hour or so, theirs not much else i can try, unless it is down to having the wrong nutes, i really dont know, all i can do is rule each thing out, so im going with temp and see if that makes any difference.

good look finding a low odour auto, their are not many auto's out their from what ive seen and i recon most of the ones that are out their are going to be the best they can be in smell and looks wise, until the breed more auto's and more people test them it would be to hard to say which would be best,.

i just done quick search mate and this is suppose to be a low odour auto short stuff#1.

its says low odour and very short plant, very discreet, could give that a try if you can find a seller, ill keep my eye out for others that say low odour mate
