Well i guess they made a pretty decent imitation then LoL. I couldnt understand how a 300 watt would not burn everything in such a small box. our veg boxes are kinda equal i think.

These 2 are up in around 24 hours. Pretty quick for my average. Normally they come up around the 2 day point.
I had 7 for 7 germinate, so I'm pretty hopeful I'll be seeing the rest when I wake up tomorrow. They go a fingernail deep when I plant them. Maybe 1/2" or so..
 
I never said I wasn't excited! I just wouldn't be :yahoo:excited. Not like it's Friday or anything ;).

Also, one of your fingernails is 3 of most people's so extra congratulations are in order on the fast germination!

Just measured.... :rofl::rofl::rofl:

My damn fingernail is 7/8" long! Holy shitballs! Never thought to measure. Maybe next time I'll go with "just the tip";)

I couldn't think of any real reason, not to, try it. I figure I'm a bigger threat to that seedling, trying to remove a husk, than the threat of planting an extra 1/4" deep. I've done my last 8 seeds that way and all 8 popped without issue.

I do get anxiety waiting for them to surface though. I'm probably more casual about it this time because I've still got multiple seeds of all these strains.

I had the same problem. its almost if they come up faster now that i plant a little deeper hehe. since i do so i havent found a seedcap greeting me anymore.

This is exactly my tought. with my micro surgery i saved one and killed one. not really good odds so i plant deeper now.
