7 for 7 showing tap roots today! 
Moby Dick took off like a "bat outta hell". Her root was almost 1" in less than 24 hours. Most were about .25"
All beans are in 32oz cups with Jiffy seed starter mix.

I think you can fit more than 7 under that light spread....Man I wish I had that room....I would veg plants for 3 months....hehe.

I could squeeze another 12 sq feet if I build some shelving in the overhead... a loft, of sorts. But i would lose too much headroom.
I think my next purchase will be some sort of outdoor garden cabinet to put outside behind the shed. I have 4 totes of growing supplies & bullshit that need to find a new home. That's what is eating all my space right now. LoL

I'd keep the overhead, my biggest limiting factor is vertical space.

Overall space is 8X8, minus a 2x2 footprint for my deep sink and a 1x2 footprint for the "veg-box" I can use the rest of that area to grow... once i move my hoarde. LoL

Agreed! At the peak of the room, I have 8' clearance. But will never really be able to use all of it because I need at least 12" to hang lights. But I'd still rather have 7' instead of 5' with storage. LoL

After this harvest, I'm gonna remove this shelf and hang the lights all the way up on the ceiling to maximize their grow area.
I hate the thought of all that shit sitting on a shelf above my plants anyhow. I'll mount the ballasts to the wall next to the inline fan.
