Thrips sounds about right... Microscopic little tan buggers. They didn't seem to get into the buds or negatively affect growth. They just left those damn spots everywhere. LoL
I've got em under control now, but I'll definitely agree with ya. They are a bitch to kill.

Album should be available now too. Thanks!

Thrips can kill plants.... and will slow them down considerably if they take enough chlorophyll from the leaves. They puncture the leaves, which does leave some damage too.

If you have them under control, you are good!!

I think your garden might be trying to tell you something. Soil, pests, light maybe. Cool room for sure!
Yup... For my first year of growing, I've learned a bunch of things the hard way. This has just been a long road of trial & error.
I'm pretty sure I'm the damn reason those bugs got in too. I keep that grow room like a clean room.... But I re-used soil from a seedling that never took off. The pot/soil I reused had been sitting outside of my barn for a couple days. Ugh! Dumbass move; I invited them right in.
Now I have my temps dialed in, lights set correctly, and bugs gone, I might see some results with this group of seedlings I started earlier this month.

Time will tell...:rollit:

Good attitude. Way to take back control. Get ER done!
Yup... Just in time for me to buy a new house and move all my shit! Haha!

Oh well. The new house has a monster greenhouse, and I think I might still move this barn/grow room to the new place too. Its an 8'X12' wooden barn... No reason it couldn't be trailered to the new property.
I'm really stoked to learn a new style with this greenhouse. That is ultimately my ideal permanent growing area.

Think most growers dream of a secure green house. That’s awesome. Time to get lost with 100s of ideas and get way too much equipment!

You know how hard it is to reel in my "dreams". LoL
We're buying a ranch on 7.8 acres with a huge shop (30X18) and a greenhouse that is plumbed & powered (12X18 I think). Secluded location. Perfect

Well, add in the "renovation" money we worked in to the deal.... It's easy to come up with ideas to spend that $$$. LoL

When you hire security, keep me in mind. Lots of possibilities! Good luck with securing the new property. How exciting! And yes I have some idea how hard it is to reel in. And you even have someone to share it with.
Ha! Hire security.
I'm still trting to pull a good harvest. LoL
Living in TX makes it hard to "go big" but I think I do pretty well about flying under the radar.
Future plans... Hell yeah I want to be established as a good grower when they legalize. I've got a few years to hone my craft; I'm sure.
I think this greenhouse is more than enough room to grow what I need amongst a normal garden.
Although, I do plan on growing a 10 footer in that greenhouse this summer. The Bagseed I'm training will probably be the only plant coming along for the move. I plan on putting a long ass veg on it to see how big I can get it. I'd still be completely happy with a respectable sized bush.

Thrips or mites would be my guess. Always great everything as a preventive measure. I spray everything before it goes to flower. If I'm in a long veg it will get treated twice before flower. I hope You get It under control cause them mites Will ruin Your crop.✌

G or a few good shots in the barn today. Can't wait til we get a calm day here so I can take em out into the natural sunlight for pictures.
I'm definitely pleased with how the Green Crack is lookin'... Such a pretty nug.

Those 2 girls are 2 weeks apart. The mature plant is about 5 weeks into flower. The younger is just about to start week 4.

These 2 bag seeds look promising. I'm going to do pretty heavy cropping & training on both.

These 2 Blueberry autos are between 2-3 weeks into flower.

Garden update 4/4:
Green Crack autos are growing a bit sluggish, but the buds are pretty dense and looking frosty.

Amnesia Haze auto is also coming along well:

Not sure what I'm more impressed with; the growth on my 2 bag seeds:

Or the way these Blueberry autos are budding up:

No new photos of my hempy pot project. I killed it. :rip:
New seed will be germinated soon to try hempy try #2.

Hiya mr.P, may I call you that... Haven't had a chance as I'm visiting @SweetSue but linked up to you while I was there and glimpsed a cpl monster girls, see will def pop in later...:Namaste:
Hey hey! Welcome...

Garden update 4/7/2018. Everyone got a trim and nutrients today.

Blueberry auto:

Green Crack auto:

Amnesia Haze auto:

And the Bagseed twins:

Morning mr.P, I'm busy with my first autos and let them run naturally to see how they do own their own and your blueberrys look cracking.
But I enjoy the lst approach so that's next to try with autos, as I have seeds from my outdoor haze.20 auto we harvested a while back.
So that's my next project........
Have a great day....
I normally run most of my autos natural out of fear that I will stunt their growth when topping. It's happened to me a couple times.
These BB autos we're freebie seeds so I decided to top em to see what happens. They seem to be doing good though. Not so skeptical about topping autos after these 2 girls.

I little birdie tells me there may be some PVC hempy pots in your future....
One bonus of growing in a neutral perlite medium is a significant reduction in bug activity. Most insects thrive well in soil... not so much in perlite.
Acres of land you say.... I was sure digging outdoor hempy pots this year.... just sayin.
Great minds must think alike!
I picked up a free 8' stick of 6" pvc. I think I'm gonna make a few 12" tall pots, but I also wanted to try one between 24"-36" long with multiple (plug-able) wicking holes to choose from depending on root depth.
Thoughts? Most people who grow in hempy, tell me I'm nuts and 12" is a perfect pot. Is it even worth the headache?
