Way to go P9 Time lapse magic is fun for sure. Grow is killer brother.
Thanks buddy!
Always a treat to see ya swing by! :ciao:

Hope all is well in your world.

This week is gonna be rough... Kids home from school all week! Ugh.

I never realized how much privacy I actually need to tend my plants daily. o_O

I gotta handle all my business at like 6 am... then actually leave them alone all day! LoL

I actually got up at 6am to tend to plants lol

It takes a lot of time to keep them as good looking as you keep them. :)
Yeah man.... the big girls are all chugging more than a gal a day now too. That's where it has been time-consuming. I'm down to 10 plants now, and it is still chaos trying to keep all 10 pots fed/watered properly.

Lessons learned from this grow;
#1: I will always grow 6 or less plants from now on.
#2: Running a large group in several different mediums is fucking miserable.
LoL

I tried to cut the soil mix with enough perlite to drain similar to the coco pots. This did not work as planned!
My pots all drain at totally different intervals. Hahaha!

I've just gotta lift each pot daily to know where they are at.

Meh..... it's working, so I'll tough it out for now.

Next summer will be much more "standardized"

It is tricky to keep the kids out of the grow space, and tending to them is tricky when they are home.
I was lucky. The eldest didn't understand what they were actually.

We try our best to keep it out of their sight. Not out of shame, just because of the conservative area we live, and still prohibited state. I'd hate for the kids to feel they need to keep a secret when they are around friends or at school. My daughter has enough anxiety already.

Now, I'm sure they have all see or smelled it over the years but don't really know enough to know what's going on. They're pretty sheltered.

My teenager has walked in on me smoking a few times. He understands that I'm just using my medication. He lived through the nightmare of my pill addiction. He respects the shit outta my decision to use cannabis.
:thumb:

They know my growing area is "daddy's man cave" and its locked/off limits. They respect that, but I think the unknown just drives their curiosity more. LoL

Patiently waiting on the day I'm legal...

This is what we went through and my eldest of the small bunch, (I have 2 "sets" 27&22 y old and the 2 small 6&10) is informed that it is medication.
:hugs: and I am even more happy and prouder than you can imagine (you know why) to hear that all that is behind you

That's the negative thing with hps. The UV radiation eats the moist away fast... You should get the bigger version of the Autopots I got now. They are fantastic always keeps them fed with the right amount of water.

Heey, I'm there too. I guess most of us are. Those pills only makes you worse. The only thing that works somewhat is the morphine but only for awhile. Then it wears of and the madness begins. With cannabis you can always switch strains when becoming tolerant.

Great with your family understanding. I wish mine were that open minded.

LoL... not the MIL this time... my buddy who helps me out, in between harvests, got ripped for a good bunch of herb earlier this week. He's out of commission for about 2-3 weeks until he squares shit away with the grower. FML
o_O
I just want to get a full group through to harvest without having to pick off the weak ones early. LoL

I know I'm good once my 3 big photo girls finish, but Damn! This shit is getting frustrating.

Normally, when I dry a harvest out in the shed, I just hang it higher than the lights. I have about 18" of room above them that still gets light, but nowhere near as intense. Temp & RH is usually spot on though. I've been wanting to try the slow dry in a fridge for awhile now, I just don't have a fridge that is "low key" enough for me to use. The cold weather outside has shifted the climate up in my attic, so I figured it was worth a shot to try drying it up there. I think it should be good as long as my RH doesn't plummet overnight. LoL

Ugh.... "This too shall pass"
:passitleft:
Maybe give the drybox a whirl for in the shed? My shits taking longer and longer to dry out in my bedroom even in the boxes cos the temps are looooow when no1s home. So once things are cool in my grow room again thats where my boxs will be.

I consider myself lucky that my 16-year-old doesn't smoke my stash! He thinks I have it all weighed to the gram and I'd find out ;).

All looks well in your shed P!

I’m lucky that The Roommate accepts that I am growing in his house. I rarely smoke, and when I do it’s in small amounts either outside or in my room. And generally he knows better than to randomly eat any sweets that I make. Typically I will do my edibles when he’s at work and have them packaged and stored by the time he gets home.
