Tead's Indoor-ish, Winter, Hempy, OGK, SOG

So... your comment sent me over to that thread to peek. I didn't remember spreading Betty around like that....
I discover I've done a complete feeding post on that thread.
Dammit!
Thanks for the words sending me there. Can't believe I did that.

:rofl::rofl: So funny. I had even typed up a whole response to your journal over at the Captn's when I realized just as I was about to post.

Bob ;)

Apparently my confusion was infectious.

So, I caught the plants under a different light this morning... right at lights on when the HPS is warming up.
5gal caught my eye. Her hairs were really red and beautiful under that light. Maybe a man made version of the magical lighting hours.... but this caused me to look at her trichs.
She's like fully cloudy and 1/2 amber! Most would see this as a good thing... but I really wanted bigger/fatter buds and I was hoping for more fill out. Dammit!
I'm gonna keep her going for more time. Trim some lower popcorn.
I see this as an overall sign that I need to step up my manicure game. I want to see bigger/fatter/longer buds (like who doesn't?).

So... I put down the camera phone today and used an old Nikon Coolpix I had hanging around....
Did a custom white balance... set it to macro... bing bang boom! Using the camera from here on out.

Oh that's way nicer. I figured it was your camera/filter that gave your plants that strange color.
By the way, my plants in the perlite are doing great. I don't think I could call it a hempy because they are being fed three times a day, so it's just regular DTW. But since my auto watering system is working I'll probably keep running it for more plants in the future, bigger ones, or experiments that I want to test out, and maybe do a real hempy if I can get my hands on some more perlite.

The Hempy bug is contagious lol

I've done this. Sad to say, more than once. :laughtwo: I've had to go looking for them sometimes and every once in a while I'll find one I forgot where I know it confused the hell out of everyone in the room.

It's good to know I'm not alone. :battingeyelashes:

Your girls are looking mighty fine sir. The chance for sunlight was greatly appreciated, I'm sure.

Nice pic. :thumb: I started using a decent Canon recently with the ability to set options and remembered what a real camera can do. I got a bit addicted to having my phone be the camera.

:goodjob:
Bob ;)

Yea... we've all become addicted to the camera phones... but when we combine functions like a android or iphone does, we rarely get the best of any of those functions.

Your girls are looking mighty fine sir.

I was just thinking the same about yours.... great minds and all.
I keep having random med discussions with folks curious about CCO. I've been trying to avoid expanding my brain (hurts dammit!), but I may have to start digging thru your back threads just so that I can speak with a bit of knowledge behind my words.

Oh... and the crawfish are great this year... you need a vacation based solely upon drinking and eating I'm sure.

And if I weren't six months committed to the grow you wouldn't be able to keep me away. :circle-of-love: I looked at that picture of the crawfish tray yesterday and thought "Damn, I really need to visit Louisanna some day." :laughtwo:

I'm in the process of doing a series of posts on CCO that will be ongoing. My hope is to explain all this technical jargon in simple to understand and apply language. It shouldn't hurt your brain to try to understand it.

In its most basic terms: Concentrated Cannabis Oil (CCO) is the resin of the plant, removed by use of solvents and processed until there's only the plant oils left. This super concentration of cannabinoids will be able to mirror with precision the action of the cannabinoids your own body can create to keep you healthy but can't keep up with during times of stress.

You have an Endocannabinoid System that has special receptors that the cannabinoids lock onto. The cannabinoids will actively seek out cancerous or damaged cells and encourage them, through a series of chemical reactions, to sacrifice themselves for the good of the whole. Because the host can't survive those types of genetic mutations.

There are any number of ways to get those cannabinoids into your system, and we're always working to improve those delivery systems and increase the bioavailibility of those cannabinoids we worked so hard to secure.

I'm getting to be pretty knowledge about it as I go along. If you have any points you'd like translated I'd be more than happy to help you get it down so your brain doesn't have to work so hard. It's kinda my mission here. :battingeyelashes:

I like stopping here early. You have a good day now, hear? :kisstwo:

Imagine that tray pile 6" high with a pile o' steamin mudbugs! Yowsa!

Oh... and you're wrong... the simple word "Endocannabinoid" started the pain.... but it's a happy pain to be endured. Thanks for the words. Digging in and never shy to query a point.

Photos and feedings...
Hang on...

A clone I sunk in a new osmo bucket. Bumped up my osmo level and changed up feeding technique. Osmo (60g) layered at 2 levels as previously suggested. What is she... Osmo4?

A clone... possibly with mold... possibly milk residue. Not rolling the dice but I liked her looks. She's hiding near the rosemary and radishes... perhaps they will somehow protect her, but I hold no hope.
