Pressure: 6.08kg/cm2-8.12kg/cm2
The fact that they use the word "printer" in their advertising and the general appearance tell us that the device was originally made to apply heat activated graphics to fabric (a.k.a. a t-shirt making machine). We pass allot of t-shirts to tourists in my neck of the woods... Tead knows one when he sees one.
That's not bad. I've heard that folks are using t-shirt machines for such things these days. I thought of purchasing one myself. I was worried it would have problems I didn't foresee, so I dropped the extra pennies on the DabPress.
A little metric conversion might help.
The plates are 12 cm/12 cm (12 cm2). The pressure developed is 8.12kg/cm2
12cm =4.7in, so the plates are about 5in x 5in (a touch less).
8.12kg = 17.9lbs. 17.9lbs x 144 = 2577 total lbs applied.
2577lbs / 25in (5in x 5in) gives us 103lbs per square inch.... or 103psi.
That's just not enough.
Is my math wacky?
Getting alittle high' tec on us there Mister Tead
Highly stoned would be more accurate. It's like I'm a kid hitting a joint for the first time. Crazy fun and crazy easy!
