I really can't tell where the main malfunction is occurring , the unit or me.... The codes I'm getting to set the parameters are not what I see in the manual. I can move the temp up to 107 but it still drops back yo 100 before heating back. I'll fool around with it more this morning .

When you press the up arrow... what does it show you?
When you press the down arrow... what does it show you?

The up arrow should show your desired temperature for inside the Cob-A-Tron
While the down arrow will show you your difference aka the set parameter... mine was set like: 104 (up arrow) .5 (down arrow) So only a half a degree allowed before it regulates the temp... I hope this is clear...

Edit: oops... my bad. Already have it down... was still half asleep when I posted!

Yes indeed it does @ResinSaurusRex, and welcome to the delicious chaos that is cobbing. Lol!

We're fermenting the buds, and that will cause a darkening of the cells and creates a sweetness unlike any other, as well as an incredible smoothness to the smokability.
