Tales From The Krip!

With 3 tents and all the fans and things running do you sleep on the couch or do you wear earplugs to bed haha
Yeah - that’d be my question too Dutch! I have one tent, and its in my bedroom too. I am finding it challenging to get the fan noise to a manageable level for good sleep - and that’s only one tent!

Ya eh ....lemmy tell ya...it was NOT good............prolly got a total of one hour sleep....maybe!!!
That one night ...i just let her sleep...and snore her fu....n brains out........i wasn't laughin , at the time.....

Found out last trip to Jamaica, how important earplugs are in a relationship.....
 Sometimes the drinks and weed aren’t enough hahaha

If I turn the TV up loud enough, you can barely notice the noise from all the fans!

Actually, with those CloudLine fans, the noise really isn't too bad. There's only two fans for the three tents as I have two of the tents ducted together and using one fan to exhaust both. There's really more noise from a window A/C unit I have to help keep the room cool.

It's kind of like sleeping in a noisy hotel room, only without the room service!

Wha size fan do you have exhausting 2 tents? I was thinking of doing this but not sure
I have the CloudLine S6 venting both the 4'x4' main tent and the 2'x3' veg tent and, between the two tents, I have that Window A/C unit so colder air is being pulled in through the intakes of both tents. Increasing the size of the opening of the intake on the main tent takes more cold air directly into the main tent and exhausts the veg tent at a slower rate, and vice versa.

Thanks - i’ll Look at cloudline too. That’s what i’m Trying to tell myself - the hotel room thing. NOit sure I’d happily live in a hotel room tho’... cause of the noise :hmmmm:
Those CloudLines are great! They run lower CFM's but are EXTREMELY quiet! :thumb:

I have a 6" Ostburg Krip, 6 years old now...24/7/365.
It's nice,.i hope to get another some day....if this one ever breaks....
Mine is run thru a speed control at 65-85%...never at full speed. Always a very good idea to oversize your exhaust fan/filter combo , so ya don't need to have it screaming away , wearing it out. It's also harder on the filter too, drawing air thru at a much higher rate of speed..makes it less effective, over time.

MAIN TENT UPDATE

Since my pic update in the main tent was interrupted unexpectedly last night due to finding some dry containers, I'm making up for it tonight!

Here's a shot of the five girls:

Bubba Hash #1 & #2:

Bubba Hash #3 (left) and the two Orient Express (right):

Bubba Hash #1 (was in back, so wanted to get some better pics):

Bubba Hash #3:

The BBH's have hooked up well with the 2nd round soil. The OE's were a little slower but are just hooking up now. I did notice a little leaf cupping that you can just see in the last pic on the right/front OE, so I raised the light to about 18" over the canopy.

They all got UBT's for four colas except BBH #3 which got topped one node above. I could give some great reason why I did this such as to conserve space since it was the middle plant, to compare how their growth patterns differed, etc. The truth is, I just miscounted a node when I topped that one! Not sure how that happened??? :bong::bongrip::hookah:

They've still got at least a few weeks left to veg before it's time to up-pot them.

Happy Harvests!
