Taking My Chances With The Devil: Dark Devil Auto & Devil's Crack Auto

They look happier already.

Moved this from the tent to the hallway. Test smokes indicate extreme potency, spicy DDA flavor similar to the last one of these, maybe a bit spicier.

Made up all of the containers for the next round. Just have to hang the Mars, soak seeds tonight. Plugging along

More progress. Dropped 2x Sensi NL fem and 2x Sensi NL x Nirvana NL IBL fem as well as 9x Devils Pitchfork F2s. SSDC went to the closet to test odor control, fan gets here Monday so I need to know if I need to run an extra filter as well.

SSDC comes down on Sunday. In roughly 4 weeks Harlequin will go into the tent and I will start vegging something else, probably crack all 4 of those Zorillo Locos.

Bigger photoperiod plant harvests every 4 weeks, hopefully with auto harvests closer to every 2-3 weeks... if I even get any auto phenotypes from the DP F2s. I might be able to give a few photoperiod phenos away but most will likely get culled. Looking for no less than 4oz/month total with two grow areas, I don't like to overestimate just to get my hopes crushed. Lol.

Staying busy. Manicured this gal. Awesome stuff. Almost can't smoke it during the day, very narcotic high. Great for pain, insomnia, and an appetite stimulant.

Nice and frosty! Is that dried in da fridge?
This was hung in the tent for 3 days and in the living room for 1. I am alternating between hanging and the refrigerator. Both work just fine.

I've dried 3 plants in the fridge so far. Two turned out fantastic, the other (may be strain related) not so much. The fridge (low and slow) definitely helps to retain color and the terpene profiles are different. I think I like purple stuff in the fridge best.

I'm going to have to give it a try. I finally flipped my girls so it'll be awhile. Had a hell of a time getting one plant to clone. The others were a breeze. The hammer's rooted really easy. The 24k not so much. Screwing around with the clones made me let the mother's get too big. I hope they don't stretch much. Lol

I hope they don't stretch much. Lol
The OG genetics in that 24k might give you some trouble. That's mainly why I supercrop in flower. Takes a bit to recover, but keeps the stretchy ones tamed down a bit.

Photo update real quick and unnecessary for sure.

Mostly, @beez0404 the Harlequin are doing much better in the warmth of the blurple closet, confirming my suspicions.

And the rest of the update.

These ladies just keep getting frostier and everytime I think they are ready to flush, they bust out another round of fresh pistils.

This one is still creeping along

These are plugging along, the deep purple pheno is closest to being finished with her bucket-mate not far behind

An den.........

So. Plan is to chop SSDC on Sunday and begin flushing the Purple Afghani x BCBD Purps dark pheno and vomit pheno in the dollar tree wastebasket. The lonely younger grapey pheno is a week or two behind.

When they come down next Sunday I should be safe to start flushing the DP x TTB purple phenos. That's all I got, for now... lol

Love the purple colors in your garden brother! And yeah I'm hoping it's not a typical og in the stretch. But I do love a good og. So it can be like that in the smoke. Lol
OG Kush has proven to be one of best all all around medicinal strains for my various ailments. It does everything pretty well and I just love the flavor,

I am growing/breeding Harlequin because it is excellent at suppressing the pain caused by my pinched nerve(s)

I'm relieved to have a couple of green plants at this point. Lol. These Northern Lights will end up purple as well, but mostly just the sugar leaves. I'd like to find something that shows blue or pink hues. My Punto Rojo crosses sometimes show rose gold colors near harvest.

Feeling pretty good about things. Fan is supposed to be here on Monday. Sometime early next month I will get the last couple bits to build my big COB light. I know that temps may get a lil rough over the summer, but having 2 fans running 24hrs/day should negate that issue at least a lil bit.

Verdict is in, must have a 2nd carbon filter in order to grow autos in the closet. No biggie, I have one that should be good for a month or two minimum, or I could buy another one.... getting a bit expensive. However, if I want to be able to vent out the window, carbon is a no brainer, SSDC stinks to high heaven. Pretty sure I could smell her out on my deck today, lol, definitely in the living room.

With the 3 Harlequin looking so much healthier, I find myself torn about breeding. Back and forth again on whether to make regular seeds or feminized seeds. The CS doesn't really have a specific purpose anymore since I have shifted to pheno hunting my DP F2s. Harlequin really seems like the best candidate at this point, until I can buy one of those big bottles that beez uses and make female seeds on a regular basis. I got a few weeks to figure it out.

Babble babble babble, ramble...

This is what Beez uses. $19.99 for a 16 ounce bottle which I purchased from the Zon.

Yup, that one. Lol.

I'm pretty much putting the cart before the horse, I don't even know if I have a female yet. If I do, I will be sure to cut clones.

About 4 hits into a bowl of DP x TTB, Uf Dah. I better make coffee right away.

Grab your trimming scissors and come on over. I'm starting to harvest the Chemdawg today. She has been getting nothing but water for the last 2 weeks. I'm seeing the amount of amber crystals I like to see for my plants. So down she comes. I harvest a little at a time which I don't know if it's good or bad but think it probably doesn't matter.

These are a few photos of the Chemdawg buds. I see some amber crystals and not a lot of clear which is ideal for me.

Here are the first three colas I harvested.

Here is a photo of them all trimmed up. These will hang dry like you see them. A gift for my buddy. First picture the lighting sucked. Second picture was better.

This last photo shows the three colas on the scale. I usually use 20% of this weight as my final dry weight.

There are probably about 15 more +/- colas like this to trim up plus the smaller colas in the center/top part of the plant to go.

Doing a little bit of math, you look to be closing in on a 13+ oz plant. :woohoo::bravo:

I like your math a whole lot more then I like mine. My guess was 6 to 7 oz. dry.
